a Pop of Pink, a Kiss of Coral with Dior.com Exclusive Glossy and Fashion Shades Dior Addict Pink Dentelle, Tango, Dior Vernis Favorite Pink Pompadour, Mandarin Orange Quick Swatch

Pink and Coral are the two most universal flattering colors for women around the world. No matter what skin tone you are, you can always find yourself loving these colors. They’re just so easy to wear. Among all the pinks and corals I’ve seen, no one does it better than Dior. Recently Dior.com provides us 4 new pink and coral items that are exclusive to their online store. Let’s check it out.

This is the flyer I received featuring these 4 glossy and fashion shades, 340 Dior Addict Lipstick in Pink Dentelle, 652 Dior Addict Lipstick in Tango, 461 Dior Vernis in Pink Pompadour, and 447 Dior Vernis in Indie Orange. Each of the two lipsticks and vernis are coordinated in a way to produce a complimenting look, a pop of pink for a porcelain doll look and a kiss of coral for a radiant rock look.

The packaging of the Dior Addict Lipstick is super sleek and glamourous.

340 Pink Dentelle

652 Tango

The 2 lipsticks compared side by side. Pink Dentelle is a cool toned pink with lots of silver shimmer. Tango on the other side is a more dewy coral red.

Here is Pink Dentelle, without the sun light. Notice the shimmers mixed into the formula.

Under sunlight you can see the shimmers more clearly.

Here is a snapshot of Tango in natural lighting without direct sunlight.

Tango under sunlight depicts a bolder color almost like red with mixes of coral.

After applying both colors I found a contrast in them where Pink Dentelle (Left) had obviously more shimmers and shines more than Tango (Right). But Tango obviously had a bolder look compared to Pink Dentelle. Two very different looking lipsticks. But they do share one similarity, super moisturizing.

The formula according to Dior uses 25% less wax compared to a classic lipstick but what sets Dior apart from others is that it holds a reflecting gel. The result translated to you is a more modern transparency, intense plumping hydration and a magnifying glass effect to intensify shine, plump the lips and above all, enhance color.

Next up, we have the two nail polishes that coordinates with the lipsticks. On the left is Pink Pompadour and on the opposite side is Indie Orange. These are the names appearing on Dior.com, although on the actual products they are Favorite Pink Pompadour, and Mandarin Orange.

461 “Favorite” Pink Pompadour. FAVORITE?!?! Pompadour is a hairstyle which the hair is turned back off the forehead in a roll. So the word “Favorite” I would assume is a lot of women prefer a more pompadour style hair especially when it comes to fashion.

447 Orange Des Indes Mandarin Orange.

Lying side by side here is a comparison between the two under the sunlight.

Dior with its chip resistant formula makes applying coats easier than ever. You can also stand out in the crowd because of its shimmers and sparkles that reflects with different angles of light for maximum prettiness. The picture depicted is Pink Pompadour which gives a very dolled up look with packed silver shimmers.

With a fresh orange coral look, the bottle of Mandarin Orange rocks a lot of gold shimmers and specks giving the nails an added shine. It sparkles under various arrays of light. The polish also has a very glossy formula if you notice the light reflections.

Here is the first look which is a Pop of Pink for a porcelain doll look. Notice the pink color coordinating between the lips and the nails.

Here is the second look which is a Kiss of Coral for a radiant rock look. The coral color is also coordinating between the lips and the nail.

Both lipsticks and nail polishes are the pick me up and love at the first sight colors. They can be worn all year round and on all occasions, even the strictest office environment. I can see myself wearing them a lot.

Right now, Dior is having a promotion offering complimentary shipping with any purchase of Dior Addict Lipstick or Dior Vernis, valid through July 19, 2011. It’s the perfect time to stock up on these super flattering pinks and corals. I think I’ll get myself a backup at Dior.com while they’re still available.
