Marc Jacobs isn’t only very well in designing clothes that look both modern and sometimes quite relax. His fragrances has been receptive by many. He recently even put out a to go version of the popular Daisy!
His latest and newest fragrance called Dot is available in stores now. It comes in a bottle that is designed very ingeniously that upon look you will be attracted and instantly want to take her (it) home.
The initial blast is a citrus candy flavor turning into a melon like scent. After a period of time, you will find the sweetness and probably fits girls in their teens. Its lasting power isn’t the longest because of its light body and freshness. It will slowly fade away with a hint of floral with subtle woodiness.
Notes of Dot:
Top Notes: red berries, dragon fruit, honeysuckle.
Heart Notes: jasmine, coconut water, orange blossom.
Base Notes: vanilla, driftwood, musk.
I took a bottle picture from Marc Jacobs site showing the look of the bottle. I haven’t really seen it in person yet but its design is quite amazing and unique. It seems like the color scheme is inspired by polka dots patterned ladybug and oversized jet-black butterfly on top, finally adorned with a shiny pearl on the side. Dot is young, playful and careful.

Dot is perhaps one of the sweetest scents I’ve smelled recently. The scent is very melon like with a mash of berry and floral in it. It’s a bit corky but feminine enough to become the jewel on any vanity table. Being the youngest sister to Daisy and Lola, Dot is all ready to take the stage.
