Annick Goutal Mon Parfum Cheri Par Camille Eau de Toilette

2011 marks the 30 year anniversary for the perfumery, Annick Goutal. The upscale fragrance boutique is one of exotic and never weariness. Each bottle has a unique scent that gives off something very different. While celebrating the brand’s 30th anniversary of the company, Annick Goutal released Mon Parfum Cheri Par Camille.

Mon Parfum Chéri Par Camille is available in eau de parfum and eau de toilette. The EDT version is available in the US only at BergdorfGoodman for $125.00 or online at for €95 if in the Europe.

Originally, Annick Goutal dedicated the Petite Cheri perfume to her daughter, Camille. The perfume that you see today is made from Camille returning the honor to her mother. That is why the name is titled Mon Parfum Cheri Par Camille.

The inspiration behind this scent is unique. Woody as it is, an unusual fragrance lasted for decades without signs of decay. Camille had the vision that drew her back to her childhood memories for the Hollywood wartime movies, “Tempting satin, Delicate lace, Gloved Hands, and Ruby Lips” all contributed to this perfume.

In a dark red ribbed flacon design with a gold stopper and black ribbon holding the name of the perfume, Mon Parfum Cheri Par Camille is one of elegance. The scent to the nose feels very feminine with class but also mesmerizing with a sexy kick that gives off seductiveness in a mysterious way. The scent well balances spiciness and woodiness. There are also distinctive patchouli (from Indonesia), plum, and iris.

At first it smelt a bit powdery, but progressively reached its best after 30 minutes mark. It was a rather powerful and mature scent that has a lot of characteristics, very different from Le Mimosa’s delicacy. The lasting power on this EDT is phenomenal, almost like a parfum. It lasted nearly 6 hours on me!

This perfume is a one of a kind fragrance that’s dreamy and rememberable. It’s like seeing it on a lady with a haute couture dress that shows her natural curves topped off with lips painted in bold red. The perfume is elegant, seductive and mysterious that you just cannot get out of your nose and mind. Two words, “Bold” and “Unique,” making it my perfect New Year’s Eve scent.

I have not tried this perfume from Annick yet. I am quite interested in how this perfume smells since it seems like a strikingly bold and flirty type.

Your previous post regarding Mimosa was a better choice because of how soft and fresh it smells. This one is a bit too out of my area.

I love that description you had in the finale. Almost reminded me of Marilyn Monroe.

Annick Goutal is one of my most sought after perfumes. They are unique, and in their own world. I love the fresh florals from them.
