Annick Goutal Paris Eau de Toilette Le Mimosa
Annick Goutal’s signature bottle is made of glasswork that is ribbed with slender grooves. Each bottle has a label representing an ivy crown which was the favorite plant of the creator. There is also a bow of golden ribbon with black dots tied around the collar. The ribbon represents Annick’s childhood with her father at his confectionery shop. Her father would always have each sweets wrapped in a piece of cellophane with a golden bow.
For the Spring of 2011 Annick Goutal came out with Le Mimosa. Le Mimosa is the latest in the perfume house’s highly successful series of “Soliflore” or single-note fragrances. Mimosa is a flower that only blooms for a short period of time during spring. With a bottle of Le Mimosa, we are now given the luxury to adore the precious scent all year around.
The ribbed cage bottle sports a slip-less easy to hold design. The fragrance starts off with distinctive mimosa and sweet peach. It’s playful and girly. There are also some other added flavors such as iris and anise to strength the body of the sweetness. After a while, the gentle mimosa and sweet peach continue to evolve into a creamy tender aroma that lasts about 3 hours.
With a specialized ribbed bottle design, a black polka dotted yellow ribbon, and a golden rounded cap, Le Mimosa has a down to earth old world look. It’s vivid, light, and refreshing, just like the sunny mimosa flower. Simply put, imagine on a bright spring day a little country girl in a yellow polka dot dress going to a county fair. She walks around having a great time. She then picks up a yellow mimosa, puts it near her nose, I see her smile, carefree. That’s exactly how Le Mimosa portrays. It is a pleasant and unique scent that always puts a smile on you.

The smell must be very concentrated on one individual flavor without blending.
Mimosa is actually pretty concentrated just like you said. It’s from their single note series. There is a few other ingredients that make it up but it’s primarily just for enhancements.
Sold. I will bought it at the store today. I love the smell too.
Oh wow. That is great hope you like it.
More fragrance yippieee.
Do all Annick Goutal’s smell unique or just this one?
They all smell unique.
The bottle is unique so is the perfume. I smell this at the store and wasn’t completely sold. The perfume is too unique for me.
It’s unique in a sense that you cannot find one like this everyday.
