August Beauty Magazines
It’s one of those boring mid-week days again. To make your day even more boring, I decide to have you read some magazines. The pictures didn’t turn out nicely since the magazines are quite bulky. So I’m thinking of maybe doing scans next time. What do you think?
First start off with some pictures of Maquia’s featured model Haruka Ayase. Don’t you think her little ears are so cute?
She’s got nice skin and her lips are beautiful.
In the middle the magazine shows some tips on accentuating tear duct
and under the black eye area. I’ve never thought of doing these can make such an impact on the eye makeup.
Can’t leave without some nail designs.
They’re my inspiration. Nail jewels are getting more popular these days.
Voce make-up grand prix for 2010 Spring & Summer. Lipstick 1st place goes to Chanel Rouge Coco 02. Well I think Chanel lipsticks are pretty good but I still like my Guerlain Rouge G better.
Mascara, Eye liner and Eye shadow
Lip gloss and Cheek
Liquid foundation and Powder foundation. I’ve yet to try RMK’s gel emulsion compact. I heard it’s got very nice moisturizing effect. But I do love Guerlain’s pearly white compact foundation, been using it for the whole summer.
Face Powder, Concealer and UV care
2nd place winners
3rd place winners
Great ways to eat orange
The little orange custard cake is so cute.
Biteki has some great makeup tips and tutorials for single eyelids and inner double eyelids. I heard that more than 50% people in Asia has single eyelids, but with these techniques everyone can have beautiful eyes.
Pink and brown are great colors to choose.
Spice it up with some smoky eyes.
Don’t be afraid of using colors.
There’re always some dishes that make me drool all over.
That tofu dish looks really refreshing.
Nail Up special master book shows how to do a hand massage.
The acrylic heart, bow and flower look so cute. It looks simple to make but I know for sure they’re not.
This is like a panorama scenery, truly amazing.
A killer butterfly nail art.
On my wish list. That’s right! Some gel nail systems.
That’s all for today. I really hope these didn’t bore you too much.
I love mag scans. I love the eye makeup tutorials, I love the before and after too =D
the panoramic and butterfly nail arts are amazing!!! its art on your nails! would love to have that once in my life hehehe 😉 thanks for the mag photos babe! 🙂
Despite taking about a year of Japanese in college, I think my level of speaking/reading is less than that of a Japanese toddler. >> So while I always want to buy pretty Japanese beauty/fashion mags, I always hold back because they’re expensive picture-books that I can’t read. ;-; So thank you for the pictures!
Thanks for sharing! It’s nice to see what’s number one product there 😀
lol she has very cute facial feature. and I’ve been trying to do smokey eye for a while now, I just love it!
THanks for the scans! They look awesome! Too bad I can’t read it….>.<

Which mascara and eyeliner are the first place winners?? Can’t really read that, haha^0^. It is so sad that a lot of the items are only available in Asia……I do love the clean makeup looks^0^, makes me feel so fresh and nice.
awesome scans! i love Haruka Ayase’s makeup!!
i honestly try to avoid Japanese mags because they make me wanna spend. I think Haruka is unique with her beauty and I respect her for that. A lot of japanese models are so generic looking and she has a traditional japanese beauty look about her (she looks great in kimono) shes does a really funny KFC and Canon advert too!
