August Chinese Magazines

Thanks to the Labor Day, last week’s gone super fast. I haven’t written any posts and it’s already Monday afternoon. I feel bad for being such a slacker. I promised to share some haul posts but haven’t yet. It’s because I was so overwhelmed by a new toy I got last week. I won’t tell you what exactly is so you’ll have to wait. It has something to do with my fingers though ^^ I need to finish up posting the August magazines before I do the haul posts. So here they are.

This month I got Vivi, Beauty Queen and Choc. Vivi’s opening has some new makeup items. I really have my eyes on the Aube couture palette.

I wish I had slender legs but at least I could wear the coat and the vest.

Cute Miu Miu handbags. I think if they had a bigger pink bag, my daughter and I can both carry one. That’d be so cool.

A great pair of boots for Fall and Winter.

The devil wears Prada. JK.

Mix and match for the new season.

These scalp massage techniques are great since I can play with my Tsubaki hair mask.

Don’t be a couch potato. Simple workout will pay off faster than you think.

It doesn’t seem too hard at all.

Queen magazine’s cover was Barbie Hsu, big S. I really like the drama Meteor Garden. I watched Taiwanese, Japanese and Korean versions but I still think Taiwanese one is the best.

I like her hair extension.

Indeed she looks like a barbie doll but I’m not a fan of her tattoos. No offense just personal preference.

Some beauty lessons for base makeup.

Fall ready lips and eyes.

When season changes it’s best to take special care of our eyes since they’re so delicate.

I always like her hair-dos. She’s so pretty and talented.

More exercises to tone down your body.

Reward your mouth with these delicious dishes.

Choc’s cover person Jolin Tsai. I think she’s getting prettier over the years.

Crazy nails.

Fashion combats between Chino pants

and Boyfriend’s pants.

Which one do you prefer?

I’m a jeans girl.

Cute accessories.

In the makeup book the battle is between shiny

and soft focus.

Honestly I like them both. They’re equally beautiful for different occasions.

2010 Blush trends

Soft eyes is in fashion

Xiao Kai’s flawless makeup lesson

It seems like concealing is the key for a weightless face.

Another picture for the magazine covers.

So this is my Chinese beauty magazines read for August. Hope you guys all have a great week ahead.

It’s been ages since I last bought a magazine! They drain my wallet, especially Japanese ones —> Kinokuniya marks up their prices.

Will you purchase Jill Stuart’s mook? The GWP looks good, I’ll most probably purchase it =DD
