Beauty Is Life Eyeshadow Solo 46c Storm Swatch and Review

Beauty is Life is a German makeup brand created by image consultant Beatrix Isabel Lied since 1978. The brand name Beauty Is Life also happens to be the founder’s name initials in an interesting twisted way. I do agree with her philosophy though. Anyway the brand has a wide range of color selection for face, eyes and lips. Recently I came across a single eyeshadow that I’d like to share with you today.

Beauty is Life single eyeshadow is packed in a simple round black case with a transparent window up top to show the color of the shadow. There are a total of 89 shades available, each of the shadows contains 3.5g worth of product.

When you open up the case, you will notice that the shadow itself has an embossed “B I L” logo.

46c Storm is a dark navy blue with hues of purple mixed in with shimmers.

With a direct sun shot, you can see the details of the shadow including the shimmers that are scattered across the brand’s logo.

The eyeshadow itself is pretty on its own, dark pigmentation with multi-colored shimmers. Even though the texture is a bit dry for this specific shade, the color blends pretty well and it performs better when wet.

Storm is a rich and pigmented regal color mixed in with shimmers. The shadow can be worn at whichever level of pigmentation depending on how you layer it. The case rather simple in design is lightweight and get’s the job done of storing the shadow. But what’s truly amazing is the brand offers such huge selection of colors, over 80 colors for eyeshadow singles! I am intrigued to try out more from the brand.

Have you tried Beauty Is Life? If so, what’s your favorite product?

Beauty is Life resembles a few brands I’ve seen. The color pigmentation looks quite intense, too bad it isn’t widely available.

The color looks well on lighter skin tones. The highlighting feature and shimmeriness stands out totally. I don’t think I can appeal with this color.
