Burberry Lip Definer Rosewood No. 07 Swatch and Review

I recently wanted to draw lip line to make my lips more appealing besides just putting on a lipstick. There were all these lip liners I had, some of them being dry while others simply don’t last. But I found one that is very well suited for its quality. It is the Burberry Lip Definer in Rosewood No. 07.

Burberry’s lip definer comes in 7 colors at 0.47 oz and is for sale at $27.00 on Burberry.com. The pencil is housed in the signature Burberry trench colored packaging and there was also a pencil sharpener included.

The lip definer is like a fine quality color pencil that is at the grade of an artist. It is smooth and ultra light weight, almost like carbon fiber. Unlike most liner pencils being round, Burberry pencils all comes in a square shape. It’s easy to hold and doesn’t roll around when you put it on the table.

At the end of the lip definer is a color code that shows you the color the pencil comes in. It also gives you some fact figures on its weight and such.

Taking off the cap, the pre-sharpened tip reveals a neutral rosy brown. If I haven’t mentioned, Rosewood is a new lip definer shade for fall 2011. I can see myself wearing this color a lot in the season.

Here is a swatch of it on my arm. The pencil was incredibly soft and smooth with great coverage. It glides effortlessly and feels really moisturizing. The formula itself comes with natural waxes and vegetal oils.

Burberry offers a magnificent lip liner with great color, great coverage and great application. As the name suggests, this lip liner is truly a definer that shapes lips and enhances natural lip color. Rosewood is perfect for the fall season as its neutral rosy tone compliments a variety of lipstick shades. The velvety smooth texture draws lip lines like no other. The light weight finish almost makes you think you didn’t put on any product, but when you look in the mirror you find a more defined set of lips. But the best thing about this lip definer is that it contains moisturizing agents that keep your lips soft and smooth all day.
