Burberry Sheer Eye Shadow Eye Enhancer

Finally I’m finishing up writing this post. I left it with photos only for almost a week. Ouch… I actually got several Burberry Beauty items including foundation, blush, eyeliner, lipstick and eyeshadows. I’m going to start with the eyeshadows first. I think they play the most important part for makeup application.

Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow comes in 20 single shades. Each costs $29 at Burberry online, Nordstrom online and selective stores.

The packaging is very sturdy. It’s matte outside and glossy inside.

Out of 4 blue toned shades I picked up 3.Β From top to bottom, No. 13 Lavender Blue, No. 15 Slate Blue and No. 20 Midnight Blue.
It comes with a protective fabric pouch debossed with Burberry check.
The eyeshadow case looks gorgeous. It’s sleek and luxurious at the same time.
All 3 shades stand side by side. From left to right, No. 13 Lavender Blue, No. 15 Slate Blue and No. 20 Midnight Blue.
Let’s take another look at the beautiful case. The magnetic closure opens up… No. 13 Lavender Blue It’s called Lavender Blue, but I can hardly see any blue by my naked eyes. It’s more like a pale lavender with super fine blue shimmers. No. 15 Slate Blue It’s a grey-ish pale blue. No. 20 Midnight Blue This one is the most beautiful color out of all shades. It’s got that mysterious hint of starry night hue. The color changes under different angles. I took several more pictures to show off its beauty. This is what it looks like under natural lighting. With flash on Finger tip swatches from left to right, Lavender Blue, Slate Blue and Midnight Blue. As you can see, these colors doesn’t look as weak as it shows in the compact especially the first two. And they’re really not that “sheer” as name suggests. I’d say they’re medium pigmented and finely milled. The texture is very smooth. The photo shows what you get with only one sweep. Swatches on paper. Lavender Blue. Now you can see the fine blue shimmers beneath the lavender color. From a certain angle, it does look blue. And that’s how it got the name. Slate Blue. This color is great for all over the lid and bottom lash. Midnight Blue. This one is definitely a main color. Overall I think they’re well worth the price. The packaging is gorgeous; the shades are wearable; the quality is exceptional. However I do wish to see some duos and quads in the near future.
