By Terry Sheer-Expert and Cover-Expert Foundation Review and Swatch Comparison

When it comes to foundation being lightweight is a huge plus because no one likes the icky mask-like feeling. But being lightweight doesn’t mean to sacrifice coverage for imperfections and that natural flawless finish. Being the master of light, By Terry gives us the option and more with both her Sheer-Expert and Cover-Expert Foundations.

By Terry Sheer-Expert and Cover-Expert foundations are packaged in royal purple colored squeeze tubes with shiny gold twist caps. Compare to her glass jar and bottle foundations, the squeeze tube is more convenient to take on the go, yet it’s as easy to apply.

The way to use these foundations would be either use your fingertips or with a foundation brush. What you want to do is apply a bit of it on the forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin. Then, you just blend the color uniformly starting from the center to the extremities of the face.

Starting with the Sheer-Expert. I gave No. 1 Fair Beige and No. 2 Neutral Beige a try out. Being the lightest and 2nd lightest shades out of the total 12 shades, No. 1 is a light beige with rose tone while No. 2 is also a light beige but with more neutral tone. No. 1 would be ideal for porcelain complexions. No. 2 is just slightly lighter for my skin tone but when I use it as a highlighter it works wonders. It makes my face glow with radiance. You can take a look at the photos below to see how both colors look.

This professional, fusional, imperceptible fluid foundation, with its I.M.C® (Intensive Mimetic Camouflage) futuristic technology, combines ultra-corrective skills, extreme sensory and perfect control of light to reveal with translucency the perfection of complexion.

This foundation is extremely lightweight on the skin. The texture feels silky smooth and it spreads like no other. It’s almost like applying a comfort cream on the face but with pigments. It provides a delicate coverage that hides imperfections like pores and evens out skin tone. I really like how natural and translucent it looks on the face.

Next we have the Cover-Expert which has more coverage than Sheer-Expert. It conceals all imperfections and signs of fatigue, leaving the skin flawless.

With the futuristic I.M.C® Technology (Intensive Mimetic Camouflage, this professional multi-active, ultra-lifting foundation auto-adjusts to the skin and offers optimal coverage for a unified complexion with a natural and velvety finish.

For Cover-Expert I am showcasing No. 2 Neutral Beige and No. 6 Flush Beige. Obviously No. 2 has the same color as the description above from the Sheer-Expert. However, No. 6 is a neutralized yellow-based color for medium complexion, as the warm tone will balance the sallow skin and give it a healthy fresh look.

Granted Cover-Expert has a higher coverage when compared to Sheer-Expert. It’s still lightweight and by no means you feel like wearing a foundation. It covers dark spots and imperfections like magic with a velvet matte finish. Oil control with Cover-Expert is also slightly better than Sheer-Expert. But both last at least 6 hours before I see shine on my T-zone.

By Terry is simply one of the best foundations I have come across. Her foundation is so refined and smooth that you could feel the quality and how lightweight it feels on your skin. There are also an abundant amount of color options to choose from which is a plus! Both foundations are rose scented which smells truly luxurious when you apply it. Between the Sheer-Expert and Cover-Expert, I feel that they gave me an option to choose whichever is appropriate for the occasion. When I’m having a good skin day and just want to even out my overall complexion, Sheer-Expert will give me that not wearing makeup but flawless look. And when I want a little more coverage, I know Cover-Expert is there for me.

You’re pretty light so I suggest you try N°1 – Fair Beige. It should be a good match for you.
