By Terry Summer 2012 Aquachic Collection Ombre Blackstar Melting Cream Eyeshadow 8 Paradise Island Swatch and Review

Half way through the summer, the weather has been chopping and changing like Katy Perry’s song. One day it can be high 80s and another it is merely 60. So as much as I love hot summer colors, sometimes I prefer cooler colors to suit my mood, for example blues and greens.

By Terry’s Aquachic Collection has a brilliant blue eyeshadow worth looking at from the Ombre Blackstar line. It matches perfectly well with my glow-y complexion from the Serum Terrybly Sunbooster Auto-Radiant Intensive Moisturizer.

By Terry Ombre Blackstar Cream Eyeshadow is what is known to bring light and radiance with mega shine to the lids. In Terry’s eyeshadow creation there is concentrations of micronized Tahitian black pearl extract, fortifying calcium, anti-aging proteins, vitamins, and antioxidant tocopherols, providing multi-reflective shine.

This new cream eyeshadow is housed in a pen like casing where design meets functionality and simplicity. Its body is in shiny gold color with a retractable mechanism. Simple turning the “pen” what makes the eyeshadow pop in and out for maximum control on portability. The rounded tip is also ideal for all makeup looks.

Paradise Island is a shimmering lagoon blue which gives off a silver reflection and dazzling vibrant color to the eyes. The powdery melting texture is soft and creamy like butter that glide on with zero effort. But that doesn’t mean the shadow will crease or even smudge. Once it’s set, there is no budging! One great thing about this eyeshadow is that you can let your imagination run wild. Beises being a fantastic glamorous eye color, it can also be used on the lower lash line for a “catch-light” look (Terry’s tip), or simply as an eyeshadow base worn under golds or blacks. No matter how you want to play with it, the result is always flawless.

This melting eyeshadow not only has an appropriate color for summer, it works really well especially on how creamy it feels to the skin. It is pigmented as it brings a reflective shine. The packaging couldn’t be any better especially the retractable pen style design. Did I mention long lasting?

By Terry’s Ombre Blackstar can be bought online at, as well as SpaceNK and Barneys.
