By Terry Summer 2012 Serum Terrybly Sunbooster Auto-Radiant Intensive Moisturizer Review

Summer without a doubt is one of the most fun season in a year. The days are longest and we get to wear shorts and skirts all the time. But every time the sun is at its fullest, the weather becomes so hot and dry. I even had a few headaches here and there due to dehydration. Not to mention, the skin was so dry that I had to reapply body lotion several times a day. I wish it wouldn’t be this hot!

For hot season like summer, our skin naturally gets tanned whether we like it or not. I know some people like to stay tanned all year long while other people try to stay in the shade as much as possible. Either or, sun protection is equally important because we don’t want dark spots or sun damage. So we wear sunblock all the time, but that belongs to another topic for another day. Today we’re mainly focusing on tanning.

Have you heard of the Serum Terrybly Sunbooster from By Terry? It is an intensive moisturizer based off 3 needs that the skin desires.

By Terry packaging design is always so regal like with its purple color mixed with blue. The silver text is strikingly reflective and By Terry’s brand name is printed diagonally criss-cross on the inside. It’s very inline with the other By Terry products, such as the Rouge Terrybly lipstick and nail polish.

I have taken a snapshot of the ingredients from the back of the box for those of you who are interested in knowing what is comprised in the product.

The packaging for the product itself is a shiny bronze background with a silver cap. Bottle design is in a squeeze tube, very similar to the Sheer-Expert and Cover-Expert Foundation except the color difference.

This Sunbooster is built upon 3 principles, 3D Hydration, Progressive Tan, and Protection against UV rays. If you don’t know what 3D Hydration is, it can defined as penetration towards the surface and below it but in volumes. It is more or so like a mask of hydration going all over the skin. There is also a registered technology built into the product known to By Terry as “Auto-Radiant”. What Auto-Radiant does is it activates, regulates, and ensures the migration of the melanin towards the epidermis within just 21 days. Auto-Radiant can also be known as a created “four-season” tan without DHA, sunlight, or UV exposure.

Here is a sample with a droplet. From here you can see that its formula is in a light golden color. The consistency of this product is gel like and very easy to absorb. The scent is By Terry’s signature rose scent. By the way, it does have a cooling effect when applied.

Sunbooster is a complete hybrid solution providing hydration, UV protection, and tanning. I did forget to mention that using this product will not result in dark spots according to the box. It also have Photocare which has anti-aging and anti-dark spot functionality along with antioxidant protection. With a product that packs such a wallop and interesting concept, it is no wonder By Terry makes such a luxurious brand.

I love By Terry. It’s such a high end brand. Though, the only place I know that carries it is Space NK. Hopefully, Sephora carries it one day.
