Carol’s Daughter Chocolat Smoothing Collection

Indulging in chocolate during February has always been a favorite. Sales for chocolate is especially well towards the middle of the month. But for chocolate lovers out there, there is an alternative where you can use it for your hair! How about sharing some of the love with your hair and making it smooth as ever while being able to smell chocolate? Carol’s Daughter Chocolat Smoothing Collection tells us that it is possible and can be done!

This Chocolat Smoothing set is priced at $60.00 and can be bought online at

Starting off with an overview of the products. Carol’s Daughter Chocolat set for hair is a Chocolate lovers dream come true. You can smell the deep rich chocolatey scent inside each bottle in the set. Kinda reminds you of the extra richness of Godiva. Each product comes with Cacao Extra and Vegetable Protein. There is a difference though that each product carries an extra unique ingredient that the others don’t have and I will tell you when I mention each product.

A routine begins with first utilizing the shampoo from the set by applying it onto wet hair and working your way around. After enough massage and cleansing have been done, it is time to wash it clean free of suds.

According to the maker’s website, the shampoo from the set contains Coconut-Derived Cleansers which are gentle and safe for most distress hair. Just like the rich foam on the hot chocolate made by cream top milk, the Chocolat Shampoo foam is equally as rich. I always spend extra time playing with the bubbles when I wash my hair. Luckily it was really easy to rinse off leaving hair soft and moisturized.

The Chocolat Conditioner is a lot thicker than your normally seen conditioner, it feels more like a deep treatment hair balm. The application is very easy, after hair wash apply this gently with massaging action into the hair and scalp. Then leave it in the hair for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

Again, from CarolsDaughter, it is stated that there is also Moringa Seed Butter inside this conditioner for the added extra moisture. The seed butter is great for controlling frizz and flyaways.

Both the shampoo and conditioner come in a unique cap. Instead of a pump or a pull click cap, it is twist and turn. After you turn the cap counter clockwise, you can squeeze either the shampoo or the conditioner out for use.

A frizzed hair is never a smooth hair. When it’s time to blow dry your hair, don’t forget to apply quarter-size amount of the blow dry cream to your hands and rub. Afterwards, style it into your hair effortlessly from root to ends. Best of all this cream also protects against heat damage.

Chocolat blow dry cream is made with the same concept of Cacao Extract and Vegetable Protein. The only difference between this cream and the shampoo / conditioner is that there is an added Soy Protein which controls Frizz. And it really does work! Not only does it control frizz, I also see my hair being shinier than ever.

Carol’s Daughter brings us 3 rich hair products that not only smell tasty but work miracles. Each one of them targets specific hair needs when shampooing, conditioning and blow drying while the same ingredient Cacao Extract effectively smoothes the hair. Ultimately the trio work as a system providing smooth, shiny, frizz-free hair results. The chocolate scent smells beyond amazing and it lasts for quite a while. Also, there are No Parabens, No Petroleum, No Mineral Oil, and No Artificial Colors.

This brand comes up with the weirdest ideas for making shampoo from food to dessert. But it actually works, you feel the hair being so much more healthier and smoother.

Chocolate does have some nice properties. Although, I too much rather prefer eating the chocolate.

Carol’s shampoos are always amazing. I always buy mine during VIB. The consistancy and thickness of the products are so well absorbed that I never looked at changing.
