Chanel Holiday 2011 Collection Les Scintillances de Chanel Glossimer Sparkle D’or, Sweet Beige, Rouge Allure Satin Lip Lacquer Empire, Liquid Eye Lines OR, Rouge Allure Satin Lip Colour Famous, Enivree Quick Swatch

Yesterday, I showed you the first 3 items from Chanel Holiday 2011 Les Scintillances de Chanel collection which were Lumiere Sculptee Highlighting Powder, Rouge Allure Extrait Gloss Triomphal, and Nail Polish Rouge Carat, if you haven’t seen them yet click here. Today, I will show you a second post of 6 more items from the collection.

The products are:

Here is a shot of all the items. After taking out everything from the box, only the 2 glossimers are in transparent casing so you can see the color and how much is left. Everything else is in black casing giving off a very chic and intriguing sexy look.

I will show you how the products look like first then followed in the end are the swatches.

The first set I want to show you are the 2 glossimers, 297 Sweet Beige and 307 Sparkle D’or.

307 Sparkle D’or is a high shimmered golden gloss that is so bright and sparkling. Your lips will shine as if you were chewing on a cake that had golden flakes all over it.

297 Sweet Beige is a peachy beige pink with shimmers scattered throughout the bottle.

The next item is Rouge Allure Luminous Satin Lip Lacquer in 707 Empire. I initially mistook the color to be deep red because of the name and found out at the store the deep red was instead Dragon.

So Empire is a high glossed creme pink with lots of pink shimmers. The color seems very rich and pigmented.

I purchased this next item because the SA told me it was very limited and there were only 3 pieces came in. I just had to take it home, Liquid Eye Liner in 307 Or.

If you get a chance take a look at it in store. The color is very eye catching, it’s like a gold bar melted into liquid.

Our last 2 items for today are the 2 luminous satin lip colors in 197 Enivree and 207 Famous. Featured first is Enivree, a rosy pink color with small specks of pink shimmers evenly distributed all around.

If you look closely, the lipstick itself sparkles and shines in the sun giving the set of lips a more natural and radiant look.

Famous is a color that Santa would always like because of how true and deep the color red is depicted. It is a very bold and classy red with specks of pink shimmers and sparkles. When I first saw it, I almost thought I got Rouge Byzantin. They look extremely alike so I had to take out my Byzantin and compare the two, review and swatches will come next.

The lipstick indeed shines when sunlight is folding in.

So like I said, here are the swatches for you to see in comparison from the bottle to the skin. First swatched are the 2 Glossimers and the Rouge Allure Lip Lacquer.

Sweet Beige, looks more peachy on my arm and glossy as well in comparison to any hints of pink. It has a medium sheer coverage. Sparkle D’or is a very sheer gold gloss that will make your lips glow without adding too much color. Rouge Allure Laque Empire being a fully opaque gloss, remained true to its compound and color. It’s more like a lipstick in a gloss form. As you might notice, the laque is very creamy and it spreads on smoothly.

So I had a dying urge to see how each of these swatches facing directly to the sunlight. As you can see they all have a high amount of glossiness and beautiful shimmers sparkling to each other. Besides having different colors, they also differ in coverage and amount of shimmers involved, Sparkle D’or being the least and Empire being the most.

Finally, the last 3 items swatched were… you guessed it! Starting off with the eyeliner, because of the finely tipped brush it is very easy to control and draws thin lines precisely. The color is like melted liquid gold. Enivree is a much natural and subtle pink. Famous is a bold red with a hint of shimmer. Both lipsticks are creamy and easy to apply.

In a different angle you can then see how luminous both lipsticks are. The fine shimmers add a lot of shine and glossiness to the colors. The gold eyeliner is just as striking as the lipsticks.

Everything in the collection looks magnificent and impressive. The glossimers and the lip lacquer are glossy and luminous. They add volume to the lips without feeling tacky or sticky. Touching on the eyeliner, its golden foil color gives a very shiny look. It’s something that is very different than the traditional black liner. I also love how Chanel give us an option for the lipstick to choose either a subtle pink or a bold red, depending on what kind of look we want.

What do you think about the Empire Laque in terms of covering over a not so healthy red lips?

I think it’s great. The coverage is really awesome. It should be able to turn your lips red immediately.

It can! It’s like after you apply it on, it doesn’t go anywhere but stays in place.
