CK One New Color Makeup Line Swatches and Review

CK One has a new line of cosmetics that will bring color to a whole new level with high pigmentation and colors that will pop right out at you. Today, I will be showcasing the Eyeshadow Quad, Gloss Eyecolor, Pure Color Lipstick, and Mascara.

Let’s begin with the CK One Eyeshadow Quad in 200 Disco. It comes in a nifty futuristic black and white case design that is like a pod. The bottom has a rubbery grip to it for easy grasp whereas the top is a clear case with a bold white circular highlight. You could see the colors directly from the outside on the case. The mechanism for opening the case is simply a twist and turn vs just popping it open.

The eyeshadow palette comes with 2 dual-tipped sponge applicators. Disco’s colors come from the purple / violet family with 2 colors showing shimmers and 2 colors being matte.

Next from the CK One family is the Pure Color Lipstick in 410 Wanted. The lipstick looks like a little capsule with 1/2 white 1/2 black design for the sleek classy look which holds true for everything else in the collection as well. The top cap is glossy plastic whereas the bottom portion is again a rubbery design.

The lipstick is extraordinarily bold in its color. It is such a high pigmented crimson red with fuchsia undertone filled with sweet vanilla scent.

CK One Gloss Eyecolor in 500 Pop is the only item that I have that isn’t in the black and white design, instead it shows the color of the pencil itself. It is quite lightweight for being a pencil. Make sure to close the cap properly after use for optimal results.

The color for Pop is a light sea green with misty golden shimmers.

Last but not least is the CK One Mascara in 400 Electrify. I won’t go over the case design on this since it is basically almost the same as the lipstick. However something cool goes about for this mascara. When you pull out the wand you could change the length and volume of it. On the handle of the wand is a twist mechanism where you could turn it to expand or contract the brush length. So when the wand is contracted it also becomes tapered, easier to get every single lash covered.

The color for Electrify is a deep navy blue.

So here is the swatch of the colors. As you can see the first thing that jumps out is probably Wanted, the lipstick. Big bold and juicy red that gives exceptional coverage and smooth application. Next is Pop, a pencil that gives a sea like green that is bright and covered with a misty layer of golden shimmers for a highlighted look. Electrify is at the very right of the picture showing you how electrified the color is. Going back on the other side is the eyeshadow quad Disco with superb pigmentation and ultra smooth texture. The top two purple colors show a much mysterious blue toned duo-shimmery finish and the bottom two are simply matte.

CK One cosmetics brings high pigments and bold colors in place with intensity. They’re simply stunning in every way. Application on each product is effortless with very smooth formula. The lasting power are also quite amazing especially the Pure Color Lipstick Wanted is almost like a lip stain while providing enough moisture. The packaging design is so cutting edge with simple and futurific touch. The adjustable mascara wand is definitely a surprise for me but it worked out perfectly. I can’t wait to check out more products from the brand.
