Crabtree & Evelyn Avocado Olive & Basil Collection, the Luxurious Refreshing Treat for Body and Hand

Whenever I see and hear the words Avocado, Olive, and Basil I can think of so many dishes and food that can be cooked up. Just those three ingredients while adding a little bit of salt and pepper, maybe even some spices can turn into a savory tasty sauce. Just don’t forget to grab some bread or crunchy chips!

Another use is body food. Our body can absorb those nutrients from these wonderful ingredients. Crabtree & Evelyn has completed a whole set dedicated to these magnificent three.

From the series, we will be featuring the Revitalising Bath & Shower Gel, Skin Revitalising Body Lotion, Skin Nourishing Body Butter, and Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy. Each of the products provides a refreshing scent of lemon notes. It energizes and brings back the spirit after a tired and long day.

The three main ingredients broken down can be seen from the press stating:

The avocado fruit, indigenous to Central and South America, has long been hailed for its natural healing and beneficial properties, particularly the ability to moisturise and soothe the skin. In the Mediterranean, olive oil has been used for centuries in skin care, culinary, and medicinal applications, earning it the reputation of “liquid gold”. It is the combination of these two fruits with the restorative and aromatic properties of basil that has resulted in a new ultra-moisturising body and hand care range. These antioxidant-rich fruit oils and soothing basil will help to condition, restore, and moisturise your skin.

Let’s start off with the bath & shower gel. The gel brings a fresh cleansing feel as well as scent upon use. It is soothing and moisturising at the same time. It cleanses leaving a smooth skin afterwards. I found that a little bit of the gel on a shower pouf works best. Work it into a lather as it is rich. Cleanse then rinse afterwards.

Next we have the body lotion. The body lotion is a silky smooth texture that is lightweight and absorbing. I felt that it left my skin flawlessly smooth with a revitalised finished. The absorption on this is almost instantaneous like with a blink of an eye.

An enhanced version of the body lotion can be seen through the body butter that I am going to show you. This body butter is really rich and creamy. It conditions even the driest skin. When I started using this I found that it was heavy duty. It was extremely rich and left a smooth hydrated skin. It doesn’t absorb as quick as the body lotion though which is pretty understandable since body butters are used for deep conditioning.

Finally, we have the hand therapy. This product by far is something I enjoyed the most. It is not only nourishing and soothing towards my hands, it protects it as well. I had some dry hands for the past few days because of doing some hard cleaning. My skin was like dry to the point that you could see some cracks. Luckily, this hand therapy revitalised my hands flawlessly and conditioned not only my hands, it conditioned my nails and cuticles too.

Here is a comparison between the consistency and formula between each of the creams. Note that the body lotion is the lightest while the body butter is the richest.

Refreshingly as it is and almost tasty! Each product brings the skin closer to perfection with protection. The amount of hydration they provide and moisturizing effect are tremendous. They leave the skin flawlessly smooth. But there is a catch. You might be hungry all the time when you use these.

I love Crabtree. It is one of my favorite stores in the mall. I love the sink design where you could wash your hands and test out different scents throughout the store.

CE makes some of the best lotions around. I remember when I first used their hand cream. It was just pure lovely.
