Croc Greenion Flat Iron Review

When we first heard of Greenion, we were “Oh! Ah! But how does it work?” As some of you might know, Croc has a worldwide patent on greenion technology on their hair care tools. Let’s take a look at the flat iron to see how it works and performs. By the way, we love how cool the iron looks.

Croc Greenion Flat Iron is purchasable on for $165.00.

Croc comes in a really nice looking flip open top box that is sturdy and great for storage (if you like to keep the boxes of all your products). On the back of the box is also a description of what the features are on this iron.

After opening the box, what you see is a sleek white hair iron adorned with green accents. The iron itself is very smooth on the edges.

Here are some key features for this iron. Note that the iron I got has both ceramic plates while the one on the picture has bottom titanium plate.

The detailed instruction features the control function. You get the ins and outs of the on and off button along with how to activate the greenion. Finally, there is also temperature control.

Don’t forget to read the temperature guide section for your hair style temperature. Turning the temperature too high might cause damages to your hair. We don’t want that to happen! There is also a styling tip on the manual teaching you 4 ways that you can do with this iron.

Here is the iron with the shot of the bottom ceramic plating. *Note in the picture from the booklet this is where the titanium should have been.

Here is the top ceramic iron plate with holes that emit greenion.

Besides the power and greenion button, the temperature will be display via the digital LCD. When you press the power button, you will hear 5 short uptone beeps. It takes no time to reach your desired temperature.

The default temperature setting is 410 F but it goes up to 450 F degrees. Now if you press and hold the greenion button for 3 seconds, the magic is going to happen…

This is not what you think. The UFOs aren’t coming! It simply is the greenion plate emitting. As you can see from the second picture the greenion goes all the way to the bottom plate. Isn’t it so cool?

After styling, the iron actually gives the hair a pretty natural vibe because of the infusion of the greenion. It’s unlike the other stylers where you get a dead straight looking hair flat without any life.

The hair looks more like a natural flowing waterfall. And the shine is unmatchable.

Also with the greenion technology that Croc holds, there are a whole system of hair care products including shampoo, conditioner, thermal treatment, etc. I got the chance to try their moisturizing conditioner. The natural sweet floral scent smells so great and the formula is rich and nourishing. After a wash you will notice how smooth and shiny your hair is. No more dull hair!

Aside from the cool futuristic design of the Croc greenion iron, the technology is really neat because it brings life to your hair. The greenion also builds a better moisture level which results in softer hair with mega shine. The iron prevents damages by smoothing the cuticle. The lightweight body makes styling fun and easy. It’s perfect for straightening, but it doesn’t end here. You can do loose curls, flip ins and outs, the possibility is endless. Also one good thing about this iron is the barrel is smaller than the regular 1″ iron, so you can achieve tighter curls and waves that most irons can’t. The packaging is so unique with an eye catching green background croc design. It makes a perfect holiday gift to someone who loves hair styling and someone you love.

I tried Croc before but nothing like Greenion. Sadly Ulta doesn’t sell it.

Is that bottom plate Titanium or Ceramic? I saw it say a mixture of both on Folica.

Both top and bottom are Ceramic. I think the drawing is misinterpreted.

Oh that looks so interesting! I currently use Croc but it’s not with that new fangled technology. Mine is also 1 1/2″ plates so it’s not curl-styling friendly. I do love it though.

That green led light looks freaky. But I guess it is technology. Where do they sell this?

Greenion is still new to me. I only know tourmaline and inferred, so I would love to give it a try. Thanks for the review.

This iron looks so cute. I don’t see pure white irons too often.
