So we got a glimpse of what Dior’s new 3 Colors Smoky Eyeshadow Palette is all about. You can read the first one regarding the color Smoky Navy here. The second palette I will be showing you today is 571 Smoky Nude. Note that there are a total of 6 variations in the collection.
This Smoky Eyeshadow color also retails for $48.

One of the things I noticed when I open the box was there wasn’t any drawing inside the flap!
The case design itself is glossy as usual. For the case’s mechanism and how it works refer back to my first post Smoky Navy here.
There is also a dedicated instruction book for this palette as well and if you notice, each instruction book are specially designed with color specific for the palette. It’s not a mass produced all-the-same booklets.
Here is an up close shot of the palette.
The miniature applicators inside include one for the base shadow (sponge applicator) and one for either smoky shadows so that no brush will blend with any color in the palette.
As you might have noticed the colors inside this palette isn’t that flashy or extreme. It’s more for defining a natural look. Hence the word, “Nude.”
Here we have the base color in creme which is great for blending with the other colors. The shadow is finely milled and the texture is heavenly silky.
The top left color is a matte chocolate brown whereas the opposite is coppery taupe which has a nice subtle shimmer. Both shadows are as smooth as the base color.
The picture below is a representation of all 3 colors. You have from left to right, Creme, Brown, and Taupe. This was taken with indoor lighting.
Finally with a bit of sunlight the colors are more glowy and look more dimensional.
Before we end today’s review, let me show you 2 videos. One is about the sliding mechanism of the new case and the other is the swatches in direct sunlight. You’ll have a better view of how these shadows look like in real life.
Smoky Nude is a nice easy to use, ready to wear palette. Aside from the innovatively designed slider packaging, the shadows themselves are in great quality. They’re nicely pigmented as well as having buttery smooth texture. The colors are very natural and perfect for everyday wear. It is like an enhancement to one’s natural beauty by giving a subtle yet sophisticated look on the edge.

The colors for this Smoky Nude palette is a really nice, neutral color. The swatches are really nice in the sunlight. Thank you for the two videos, especially the one showing how the palette opens up.
The video was done so that the mechanism could be better seen instead of using words! The neutral color is great!
I’m so glad swatches are popping up of these. BLB did the khakis and I must have them!
Thank you for sharing! <3

This is sucha great neutral palette. Thanks for the videos.
No problem the videos depict a much better accuracy on how the colors look and how the mechanism is simply seen with the case.
I was at Nordie yesterday and debating on whether I should get this or the smoky pink. I am glad I ended up with this. But the rest of the colors are also pretty.
Hehe…
The palette is so wearable. I really think everyone should at least own one neutral palette like this.
It’s always good to have a variety of things for different occasions and events.
The slider case is really cool. The colors are nice too. I can’t wait to get to the counter to see it myself.
It’s supposedly everywhere from Dior Boutique to Nordys to Macys too!

I was going to get this palette but then I saw the smoky brown and smoky pink. I don’t know which to get anymore.
