Dior Capture Totale Eyes Essential Eye Zone Boosting Super Serum Review

Beauty isn’t always about makeup and that new eyeshadow quad. Those are just there to enhance and boost our overall appearance. If we want our skin to look young from inside out, anti-aging skincare products are musts. Signs of aging begin around the eyes, like puffiness, dark circles, fine lines, etc. It is very essential to combat those signs so that our youth is maintained for beauty. There are numerous ways to defy aging, sleeping early, exercising, eating well, and last but not least skincare. A skincare serum specifically targeted towards the eye area is something that cannot be disregarded.

Dior’s Capture Totale Eyes Essential Eye Zone Boosting Super Serum can help us accomplish a better looking skin around our eyes making us look younger and healthier.

This eye serum is weighted at 0.5 ml available at www.dior.com for $70.00.

As we all know serum is the most concentrated and effective skincare product. I’ve been using a face serum for years but eye serum is the first time.

On the side of the box we can see the description stating the obvious which is eliminating skin toxins while revitalizing the skin to show a heighten youthful appearance. It is also able to boost the performance of any other eye care treatment applied afterwards.

It comes in a hygienic pump design which doesn’t go too far down. Each pump gives the right amount of product for each eye, there was no risk of wasting. The only down side of the bottle is you can’t see how much is left inside, so better get a backup when you think it’s running low.

Being a serum, the consistency is fluid and light weight. Like I said the pump is great for dispensing just enough product each time. This is what you get with one pump. What I do is smoothing it around my eye area each morning and night. Since the serum is very light, it gives me some time to massage. Then I’ll use my fingers to pat in the remaining serum and give the temples a good press.

The result is hydrated and radiant skin. Though I’ve only using this product for a little over a week, I’ve started seeing my dark circles are visibly diminishing and the skin is smoother and tighter. So I’m really loving it. Besides there is a pleasant light floral scent to it, each time my nose is like getting an aroma therapy treatment.

This eye serum has an easy to apply and fast absorbing formula that clearly melts into your skin. It is very moisturizing but doesn’t sting the eyes like some other brands. With a pea size amount, it is enough to last you for quite a while. So for the ones that want younger, smoother eyes, Dior Capture Totale Eyes Essential Eye Zone Boosting Super Serum is definitely worth investing.

Sounds lovely, but I just re-ordered my Perricone MD High Potency Eye Lift – and my eyes are baggier than yours, lol!

You know the best thing about this is you can actually layer other product on top, so it gets super boosted. And your eyes are naturally beautiful as is.

I love Dior’s Capture Totale line. Everything in that collection is luxurious. My most favorite is the foundation, it makes my skin glow like no other. I’m going to have to try this out.

I never heard of an eye serum existed. How do you compare it with a regular eye cream?

Eye Serum is a more concentrated product targeted towards the eye area with age-defying mechanism. Eye Serum is essentially supposedly stronger in combating aging.

I’m thinking of getting a new eye cream for the winter. Do you think it’s rich enough?

Yes, an eye serum is strong enough.

Nice review! I’m really picky when it comes to eye care products because my eyes are pretty sensitive. Is the Dior super serum gentle enough for contact lenses wearer?

Yes its gentle. I usually apply it after showering / before sleeping. It doesn’t irritate at all.

I like eye creams that are a bit liquidy. I used some “rich” eye creams which drag my skin pretty bad. I might just give it a try.

It seems to be a really nice product, the price tag is right too. For a Dior eye serum, $70 is quite reasonable.
