Dior Capture Totale One Essential Ultra-Detox Treatment Mask Review

Recently, I have been wanting to detox my face and remove all those skin toxins. I tried a few detox masks where you apply it on your face and rip it off later… those didn’t really seem all that great. I then heard of Dior’s upcoming Ultra Detox Treatment Mask where you don’t need to peel or wash it off. It takes away even the most stubborn toxins.

Dior Capture Totale One Essential Ultra-Detox Treatment Mask is available in 1.8 oz for $95 at neimanmarcus.com.

Skin toxins as we know are harmful to our skin and makes us look unhealthy with all the bad skin buildups. But as Dior explains it on the box, it accelerates our age which includes wrinkles, loss of firmness, and uneven skin tone! Age-defying ingredients will also have problems of delivering their full potential because of the blockade!

One essential Ultra-Detox Treatment mask utilizes Detoxinyle which is a powerful natural detoxifying agent. All you need to do is to  generously apply this mask onto your face once or twice a week and leave it on for 10 minutes. Be sure to remove the excess product with the spatula included. Afterwards you can go ahead and apply lotion. This was something new to me since you didn’t need to take this mask off.

The back of the bottle also reminds you to apply once or twice a week. Don’t you just love the red wine and silver design? So luxurious and elegant.

Taking off the cap, you have a Dior foil seal to keep the mask from flowing out or of any damages including air. But you will also know that this is sealed tight. Underneath the foil is another safety cap with a handy pull handle.

The mask itself is in a light pink gel formula that is quite eye soothing. There is a subtle floral scent that is pleasant and relaxing.

Scooping out the detox mask is almost like scooping out an european strawberry yogurt. Hmm yummy!

The light gel consistency makes it really easy to apply. You just smooth it out all over. There is no cracking or tugging like the peel off masks I’ve used before. Instead this mask is very smooth, so just let it sit there and do its job.

Here is the result after being detoxed. The skin feels so soft and supple, just like a baby’s skin. I also noticed the area looks pinker and brighter because the toxins are now gone and skin gets all the benefits from the mask and more oxygen too. It never seemed so radiant before.

I never knew a facial treatment mask could make such a big difference when it comes to detoxing. With only 10 minutes, once or twice a week, the skin is totally transformed into a whole new look. It looks brighter and plumper. It feels softer and smoother too. While I have the mask on, there isn’t any discomfort feeling like wearing a mask, instead it feels really soothing. Thanks to Dior for making such a great product.

Strawberry yogurt! My favorite. I must try this mask. I see it’s been back order on Neiman though.

Can you also recommend a night cream for dry skin? I need something to take with me on my trip.

You can try Dior’s L’or de Vie La Crème Riche for Face & Neck. That should be good for your dry skin.

I did see a change on your skin but how long does it last? Does it irritate skin at all? I tried some masks that are very harsh to my skin.

The result lasts quite a while but I do believe it’s a long term treatment. You get better results over time. It does not irritate my skin at all, it’s more gentle than the peel off masks.

I’m tempted… How long does this jar last?

I can’t give you an exact time period. I want to say several months? It depends on how frequently you use the mask. You can do once a week or twice a week. For each time I do 2 or 3 scoops.

I’ve never thought my skin also needs detox but now I think I need this. Thanks for the review.
