Dior Diorsnow 2012 Whitening Skincare Collection Infused with Icelandic Glacial Water Review

Bottle water is especially pure and tasty when it comes from a non polluted area. Icelandic Glacial Water would be a prime example of an area with tasty water. The water tends to be fresh and pure. If we used such fine water with our skincare what would be the end result? Dior seems to have embarked on such an adventure. Let’s take a look…

Dior’s Diorsnow collaboration with Icelandic Glacial Water will be available middle of next month in Taiwan and Japan.

Dior’s Brightening Innovation has been made with rare and precious water which is from extreme purity. Diorsnow combines Transparency Enhancing Complex (or TEC), the most complete brightening technology with none other than Icelandic Glacial Water. The result is boosted brightening effectiveness.

Each bottle of Diorsnow comes with a silvery dotted snow artwork right in the middle of the bottle.

Starting off with White Reveal Wipe-Off Gel (150 ml). The gel is essentially a gentle exfoliator. It is a cool non drying gel that gets rid of dead cells and impurities from the skin. After cleansing you will feel that the face and neck area is refined. Apply this only once a day either in the morning or at night.

The bottle itself comes in a pearl white casing with a blueish clear top cap with silver inside. It is quite cool in design leaving a very clean look after a glance.

Once you pop off the cap, a pump is revealed. Make sure the pump is factory sealed with a silvery “CD” foil sticker.

I pumped this wipe off gel twice on a cotton pad. For best result, use one cotton pad on each side of the face and exfoliate symmetrically. It felt relaxing but at the same time it did a great job in removing dead skin cells and impurities. I noticed that some of my nose pores were cleansed and the face was instantly brightened. The scent was subtle floral yet very refreshing.

Here’s another picture showing how the wipe-off gel looks like.

Next up we have the Diorsnow D-NA Control White Reveal Day Essence (50 ml). This white box exemplifies that it is a white reveal day essence. The night time one is in an inverted black case design. The beauty of D-NA Control is that there is a high concentration of ingredients for rapid and lasting brightening results after each application. This essence is not only an intense serum, it brings a fresh and luminous appearance while making the skin glow with pure transparency. After daily use, you should be able to see dark spots decreasing while preventing them from appearance.

D-NA Control’s design brings a very sophisticated look to the table with a clear bottle design. Inside is also a pump for easy access to the essence.

The consistency of D-NA Control is a bit thicker than the wipe-off gel, but it applies effortlessly and absorbs quickly. Providing the moisture and hydration needed, this essence also had a subtle floral scent as well.

Last but not least is the White Reveal Ultra Purifying Fluid (50 ml). This is also known as an Anti-Imperfections. This fluid is to be used every morning after the D-NA Control and at night after D-NA Reverse. It not only smooths and refines the skin’s texture, it also regulates sebum to keep the skin perfectly matt.

With no cap at all, it is a simple push pump out of the box with a design that is similar to Dior Hydra Life Protective Fluid.

The fluid after pump reveals a milky white cream that softens up the skin upon application. Did I mention pores being closed to where it seems like they have disappeared? Just like the Wipe-Off Gel and D-NA Control, White Reveal Ultra Purifying Fluid has the same subtle scent.

For all your brightening and whitening needs, Diorsnow has added a very important ingredient, Icelandic Glacial Water, something that is so pure and precious. The entire line provides a very light and fresh approach when you apply any of the products to the face. The wipe-off gel is not only gentle, it cleanses effectively leaving the skin flawlessly clean. Both the essence and fluid work quite well together leaving the skin luminous and glowy but also hydrated and refreshed. I was able to see my skin one shade brighter and overall looked more evenly after two weeks of usage. Now it’s been almost four week, some dark spots are diminishing and the pores are more refined. I’m happy with the result and can’t wait to see the whole line available on counter.

This line is only available in Asia and I heard it is great for whitening. Hopefully this comes over here someday.

Do you know if there is any difference compared to the old version? Other than the Iceland water.

I don’t know the exact difference but I do know that the smell is really refreshing on this one. You get an intense whitening formula for the face. Whitening / brightening all the same.

This sounds exactly what I am looking for in skin care. How does the Dior compare with the Chanel Le blanc? Also is the Dior going to be released in the US?

I don’t know how it compares with Chanel Le Blanc, since I have not used Chanel Le Blanc as of yet. In terms of it releasing in the US, I have not gotten any information pertaining to that. I do know that it will be released in Taiwan and Japan middle of next month. Usually, for rare releases like these the only place to get it might be the Palazzo Dior in Las Vegas. I would say try calling over there.

I drink Icelandic water but to have it as a luxury inside skincare that’s a first.

I’ve been using Diorsnow since my high school days. It’s my favorite.
