Dior Spring 2013 Makeup Collection Cherie Bow Vernis Tutu Gris Trianon Rosy Bow Swatches Review
When I first looked at these colors, it reminded me of Angelina Ballerina. A mouse that loves ballet dancing more than anything. These colors featured everything that can be seen from the cartoon my daughters love. The powdery pink color is like the color of the mouse whereas the deep rose is her tutu (not to be confused with the nail polish here).
From the Spring 2013 collection, “Cherie Bow,” features all three colors here in today’s post. For the entire collection check out the press.
All three colors are playful and feminine. A little subtle but also not as bold as some of the other collections. I guess after the Winter time, it is time for the animals to end hibernation such as bears and flowers to start blooming / blossoming again. Smacked dab right between Winter and Summer, Spring is like revival and the start of a new year. If you want to compare this year’s colors with last year’s you can check out the Garden Party Collection. Though, last year only had 2 colors.
Spotted several days ago on my Instagram, 155 Tutu is perhaps the color most closely associated with a Ballerina. The color features such a soft powdered pink that covers the nail from end to end without flaw. Note all swatches were done with 2 coat application.
306 Gris Trianon is a classic shade of grey that is a bit darker than the other colors. Neutral lovers should definitely add this to their shopping list.
355 Rosy Bow is a much stronger shade of pink than Tutu, also the most girly color out of the three.
Lastly, here is a shot of all 3 nail polishes.
All three nail polishes are very easy to work with. The formula is creamy and smooth that dries to a high shine creme finish. Pigmentation is somewhat sheer for the first coat, but you will have full coverage with 2 coats. Colors are quite classic and can be found on a typical ballet stage. Each of them are perfect for everyday use since they aren’t too flashy or too bold. If you have seen the summer mix collection (my swatches), fall jungle collection (my swatches) or Christmas grand bal collection (my swatches), you can tell how soft these colors are compared to them. Because of the feminism and carefree attitude, these colors are the best presentation for the upcoming spring season.
Dior Spring 2013 Cherie Bow Collection nail polishes will be available Spring 2013 at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Dior.

Amazing nail polish! I like TuTu and Gris Trianon! 🙂
Those 2 are the best!
I’m not a big fan of pink, but I’m super interested in that gray one!
Do you have Gris Montaigne?
Hello. How is it compared? Trianon is lighter, yes?
Do you mean Gris Trianon compared to Gris Montaigne? Trianon is a lighter shade, yes!
Thank you. I find that Montaigne to be more suited to fall / winter, even though it was launched as a spring collection. Trianon seems like it will fit the bill for a neutral spring shade.
This is crazy but I am really attracked by the grey nail polish! The first shade looks so light and I’m not sure how well it would go with yellow skintones? Can’t wait to see more swatches of this collection!
You could wait to swatch it in stores to see if you like it. Though, I think they are all great. The first two obviously is the best.
