Dior Vernis 671 Violet Graphique / Graphic Berry Swatch and Review

I love summer because a lot of my favorite fruits are in season during summer months, for example berries. They’re both yummy to the taste and great for our immune system. It’s only natural that I stock up my collection with a berry polish.

…Dior 671 Graphic Berry is a deep fruit punch color that is rich and creamy.

The bottle of polish under natural lighting looks almost like the color of raspberry!

671 Violet Graphique / Graphic Berry. It seems like a nice creme at first sight.

However under direct sunlight you can then see some sparse shimmers floating in the bottle.

An up close shot depicts the shimmers drifting about in the sea of berry.

The formula is great as always. I feel like one coat is good enough for everyday wear, but here I did two coats anyway. It turned out super opaque and the coverage is superb. The tapered brush is easy to handle as it applies polish evenly and efficiently. Drying speed is also fantastic. There was almost no down time as I work on each finger.

Besides being a hot berry creme, this finish is also super shiny. With direct sunlight the glossiness is shown to the extreme. You can also capture the micro shimmers reflected by the sun.

Another angle under sunlight.

If only this was a real berry juice I can drink it all… or if all berries were this creamy and glossy… just imagine how tasty it could be!! But no it is a nail polish that is in a dark berry punch color, which I assume, a mix of blueberry and raspberry….

The polish itself has the best formula with great pigmentation, and consistency. Being a creme polish doesn’t mean it dries flat; it’s interesting how it shows sparse shimmers under the sun. The glossy finish gives the berry color maximum exposure yet at the same time it isn’t gothic or anything so you can sport it anytime. Try putting on this polish while eating berries because the berries might just become tastier… But be careful, don’t bite yourself =)

The color reminded me of red wine when I was drinking it last night. Which is really coordinates with a lot of things.

This color isn’t a really new color, it’s been on Dior.com’s website for quite some time now.
