ELIE SAAB Le Parfum Review

A genius and a passionate designer, Elie Saab was not even nine when he first created a dress for his sister. Who knew Elie Saab could open his couture house at a young age of 18 with more than a dozen seamstresses? Well recently, he has invited all women who dream of wearing ELIE SAAB to try his Parfum.

Elie Saab’s Parfum is pleasant sweet that one spray would fill the air with grace.

Elie Saab’s parfum exterior walls are designed by Sylvie de France. Sylvie knew Elie was passionate about design and architecture. So the design of the bottle represents a big jewel. Looking at it from a distance you might mistake it to be a piece of crystal but holding it in your hand, the bottle translate into a luxurious sensation.

On your first spray, you feel “Wow! Heaven!” That is because the surrounding air and the area you spray will have a fiery blast of orange flower scent mixed in with honey. Simply put, it’s sweet and floral. After the initial spritz settles in, you then find traces of jasmine scent lurking in the midst of orange flower and the honey. It is light and lingering.

Elie Saab’s parfum smells just like a floral tea with honey that I would drink in the afternoon while eating biscuits and macaroons. The initial burst of sweetness is striking and crispy. Soon after the floral jasmine kicks in, mingling together with the sweet orange flower and hints of honey. You can also sense patchouli and cedar. Everything is harmonized for a solid 5 hours. The scent is pretty yet complex that you’ll need a good nose to appreciate. If you are planning to go to a night event this perfume will make you the spotlight of the night. It’s addictive, feminine and confident.

It is tempting. The perfume makes you want it more. It’s really long lasting and not overpowering as well.

Being a perfumist I really loved Elie Saab. I love how it is strong on initial spray and mellows out evenly after a few minutes. Its like a wakeup call.

I love how you could incorporate the elements of afternoon tea and macaroons. This must be a a real floral tea perfume.
