ELLIS FAAS Creamy Eyes Liquid Eyeshadow E103 E105 Swatch Review and Simple Eye Look

Thrilled by ELLIS FAAS’ innovative packaging design and fantastic coverage after seeing Creamy Lips? I’m sure you want to see more from the brand. So today I’m bringing you another review from ELLIS FAAS, Creamy Eyes Liquid Eyeshadow.

For the Creamy Eyes, the outside packaging is also in a long slim box but in a deep green color, like our blood vein. Each eyeshadow is sold at $35 on ELLISFAAS.com.

There’s a list of ingredients written on one side of the box. Note these shadows are good for 24 months after you start using it, most brands’ are only good for 6 months.

The colors I’m showing today are E103 and E105. They have the colors marked on the box.

Besides having the same outside packaging, these Creamy Eyes also share the same bullet pen shape design with any other ELLIS FAAS products (except the foundation in bottle.)

It seems like Creamy Lips are the only ones that come with a doe foot applicator, the others including Creamy Eyes all come with a nylon brush. These are just as easy to use as the doe foot applicator, the brush hair feels soft yet it’s dense enough to give precise control.

The base is color coded with product number for easy identification. In order to dispense product, you just turn the ribbed end clock-wise. For the first time use, what you do is turn the pen brush side down and turn the base. Then you see product come out, wait a second for it to saturate the brush. For your ear pleasure there is also clicking sound when you turn. But don’t go too crazy on it, or else you’ll end up having too much product coming out.

This is E105. Apparently I dispensed a little too much.

Practice makes perfect. I got it right the second time, E103. This is all you need for your whole eye makeup. These liquid eyeshadows are super concentrated and pigmented, so a little bit will sure go a long way. Any more than this will just be a waste.

Time for the swatches! Here we have E103 (left) and E105 (right) on my arm, picture was taken in the shade. There was no blending, literally I just brushed the products on. I really love the creamy texture and fantastic pigmentation. This is done with NO primer. Even though they are liquid eyeshadows, it didn’t take long for them to set. They also don’t dry instantly, so that gives you enough time to do the blending. Before I remove the colors, I tried to rub them using my finger. Guess what? None of it even budged! That was really amazing. Now pigmentation plus super long wear, I have nothing else to ask for in an eyeshadow.

Color wise, If you think they’re just boring black and brown, think again! When they were exposed in direct sunlight, you see super super fine shimmers in the brown shade. They are so fine but definitely there. I tried to look for the same sparkles in the black shade but it seems to be complete matte.

This is E105 blended, photo was taken in direct sunlight. Now you can see the iridescent shimmers all dancing to the sunlight. It has a mauve-ish tone on top of the brown color, the shimmers are also quite complex.

With a bit out of zoom, you can see the shimmers even better. Also pay attention to the edge of the swatch, the color is just brown which doesn’t have the mauve tone. So when you blend the shadow lightly or when it’s fully blended, the color changes. That’s really interesting and unique. It’s like a natural gradation shades in one shadow, and the gradation is seamless because the colors are already in the shadow.

I have a look on the eye for you. What I did was brush the shadow on the lid starting from the lash line up to the crease, then blended it upwards using my finger tip. You really don’t need any technique. If you prefer a even more dramatic smoky look, just add more shadow or you can layer another shade.. The color is easily buildable and super blendable. The creamy texture spreads like butter and melts into the skin like a real skin color. It stays there until it’s taken off and looks as fresh as they were just applied. There was no creasing or caking.

Here is E103 blended, photo taken in direct sunlight. I didn’t notice any visible shimmers like E105 but the color itself is very vivid and dimensional.

After falling in love with ELLIS Creamy Lips, I find these Cream Eyes liquid eyeshadows to be my 2nd BFF. They have the same rich creamy texture and incredible pigmentation. The color selection is humble yet flattering. There’re currently 7 shades available on the website. I’m loving each one of them. I am not sure if the rest have the same gradation effect like the E105 or if they’re matte like E103. So why don’t you test them out and let me know? But either way these Creamy Eyes won’t disappoint you.

Color is very basic, but looks so beautiful. I think I’ll order some more ELLIS FAAS 🙂
    Will you show the blush?

Yes! I will show the blush later on when I get the review done. The colors are indeed very pretty and the eyeliners are one of a kind.

All you need to do is turn the knob at the end of the pen and color just like art.

Great review! These eyeshadows are the most pigmented shadows I’ve seen. They’re really nice. I need to order some. Which other shades do you recommend?

I really like neutral shades right now. So I love the brown a lot and the color is so interesting. It changes colors when you blend. I gotta try it myself.

I only use powder and cream eyeshadow, so liquid eyeshadow sounds new to me. I love the brown color a lot. Thanks for the swatches.

The liquid eyeshadow is a must have. It’s so liquidity that it’s so easy to use!

I checked their website and see her shades are all really basic but it’s all good. I know I can use them all the time. My most favorites are the Ellis Reds.
