It has probably been a while since I last wrote and talked about Ellis Faas. The brand is a cross between cutting edge and ingenuity. The innovative design makes everything simple and easy to use right out of the box. Today, I will be featuring 2 Milky Eyes liquid eyeshadows.
Ellis Faas’ sleek silvery bullet style pen design for Milky Eyes comes in a green cardboard box. Compared to the Creamy Eyes velvety texture and high coverage, Milky Eyes are more translucent. There are 7 color variations in the line, the colors I will be showing you are E203 and E209.
As you might know, on one end of the pen is a twist mechanism while the other is a brush. While twisting and turning the formula is dispensed out into the brush where you could color / draw on your lids. The brush itself is quite dense but feels soft on the skin.
Here are 2 photos depicting the dispensing of the formula. Try to be gentle turning and wait a few seconds when you see the shadow coming out, or else you’ll get too much at once like I did with my E203. Color wise, E203 is dark navy blue toned purple and E209 is a nude color with peach tone to it. Also, E203 looks almost matte with just a tiny bit of soft shimmers while E209 has a subtle pearlescent finish.
Here is a side by side swatch comparison with left side being heavily swatched and right side being evenly blended. The formula on both shades are smooth and creamy, just like the Creamy Eyes. Color pigmentation is fantastic but at the same time super lightweight. The brush applicator also makes applying the shadow a breeze, even though you can also use the fingertips to blend it over the lids for a more even and smooth finish. To intensify the color, a second layer can be applied at the lash line. These shadows are also buidable and long lasting without fading or creasing. After all, they are not traditional eyeshadows.
Ellis Faas simplifies life with creativity. Everything is designed to be truly unique and practical. Pop off the cap and start drawing. It is as easy as 1-2-3. And the colors are essentially hand picked to flatter all skin tones. If you haven’t tried them yet, you should definitely.
