Fall Finished Products

At the winter time, I’m showing you “Fall Finished Products”, a little funny? I guess it is. I tend to wait a while after the season ends to do my finished products, that way it gives me some time to accumulate empty bottles and jars. I’m not a person that finishes off things fast ^^

Keep reading to find out what I finished from this Fall.

Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion For Face/Body Very Water Resistant Sunscreen SPF 55 PA+++

This product probably has one of the longest names I’ve seen so far. It took me almost a year to finish. Why so long? That’s because I didn’t like it, not a bit. The shape of the bottle is weird which doesn’t really make any sense. It reminds me of the L’oreal baby shampoo. The opening is too short and it always make a mess when I pour the lotion on my hand. The product itself is mediocre as well. It feels greasy and leaves a white powdery finish. The worst part that I can’t stand is that it dries up my skin pretty badly. It totally doesn’t worth $35. I’m not going to repurchase it.

Dior Hydra Life Pro-Youth Sorbet Eye Creme

I’ve already reviewed this product in June. See the review here. Upon finishing it, I realized that there’s a design flaw associated with the jar. Did you notice the neck is a lot narrower than the base? It gave me a hard time scooping out the product. Hopefully Dior will catch this problem and fix it in their next generation Hydra Life. Other than that, I did find the eye cream has cooling effect which is a wakening bonus in the morning.

Cle de Peau Restorative Body Cream

Best ever body cream, absolutely two thumbs up! It has the signature Cle de Peau divine scent that is so light and relaxing. The cream is super rich yet not greasy. It smooths, moisturizes and firms my body and leaves it a dewy sheen for overnight. The only downside is its price.

Shiseido Tsubaki Head Spa Shampoo with essential oil

Again I’ve reviewed this item in August. Take a look at the review here. This is already my 2nd empty bottle with the help of my husband. I’m currently using Shiseido Super Mild Shampoo but I still love this. It’s a pretty decent Japanese shampoo on the market. Anyone with scalp problem should definitely give it a try.

Kao Bioré U Body Wash in Angel Rose scent

I’ve always been a fan of Shiseido body products. I’ve used Super Mild (Citrus and Floral), Kuyura (Herbal and Floral), Ma Cherie (Fresh) and probably something else. It’s time for a change and I’m glad I did. Basically most Japanese body washes work similarly. It really depends on which scent you like more. With so many choices out there, it’s totally unnecessary to limit ourselves to one or two brands. So back to Bioré body wash, it’s formulated in a same weak acidity as human’s bare skin. That means it cleans your body gently without stripping out moisture. The angel rose scent is pretty pleasant too. Though I like it, I’m going to try another scent next time.

Shiseido Body Soap

I got this along with two bar soaps and a hand soap in a Christmas skincare set from Mitsuwa Market last year. I’ve already finished the hand soap but it took me a whole year to finish this body soap. It’s a little watery than other Shiseido body soaps but still it’s pretty good. I’d repurchase it if I could. But Mitsuwa didn’t carry it this year and it’s nowhere to be found. So that’s it for you, my buddy.

Hope you enjoyed reading today’s post. Until next time, stay warm and do a lot of Christmas shoppings.

Wow you finished a lot. I never seem to finish anything. Maybe that will be a resolution for the New Year. I had been looking at that Sheseido foundation for awhile, but I will not be trying it now. Thanks for the review of everything. Great post

    yay for finishing products!

i actually have the shiseido sunscreen and i like it. i agree though it leaves a white ish cast but since im very fair skinned, it helps even out some redness in my face so i like it xD the only thing i hate about it is that it was kinda hard to remove off my face. it really sticks to the skin!

and ive been meaning to try out the tsubaki shampoo but they’re soooo pricey @_@ maybe one day… lol

Great job for finishing so many products!! It’s super hard for me to use up a product as I tend to use one item and then switch it later. Makeup is super duper hard to use up.
