FINE Hyaluron & Collagen Powder Review

When it comes to beauty products, I’m an addict. I will do whatever it takes to make my skin stay younger, from facial masks, to nanoe ion steamer, even facial roller, I tried them all. Not even that, I also take beauty supplements like collagen powder drink. I’ve had some good experience with Meiji‘s regular and premium amino collagen powders in the past. But I’ve always been curious about another popular Japanese brand FINE, so after I finished my last Meiji powder, I decided to give FINE a try.

At my local Mitsuwa Market, it sells for around $50, but at sasa it was a lot cheaper. They always have buy 2 get 1 free deal. So if you get 3 months supply, it’s a bit cheaper than Meiji premium but more expensive than Meiji regular. I apologize I only have these photos because I’ve already finished my 3 cans and threw them away.

There was a plastic cap on top of the can and underneath it you gotta break this seal first. It shows you how to do that, pretty standard.

Just pop up the ring and pull it back.

Then you should see the powder and the spoon inside. Compared to Meiji’s spoon, FINE looks flatter and rounder, but they hold the same amount of weight of 7g.

The powder itself looks a bit coarser than Meiji’s, and the plastic cap doesn’t have a flap that you can level the spoon like Meiji does.

I finished drinking my 3 cans of FINE Hyaluron & Collagen Powder a while ago, so that’s 3 months time. I didn’t notice much improvement in my skin like the Meiji ones do. My skin wasn’t getting smoother and brighter, nor did it become more hydrated. So I think pretty much it’s a fail for me. Though at first I did think it taste better than the Meiji regular, because it’s got a milk taste to it. But later on I find it irritating, it’s like I was drinking baby formula. With the price I could probably buy a good skincare serum and had better results. Sorry FINE, I’ll have to drop you.

By the way, does anyone know any better Collagen Powders or tablets? FANCL, DHC or even Shiseido?

Finally let me show you these background knowledge about hyaluron & collagen from sasa website.

Fine Hyaluron & Collagen replenishes skin with essential nutrients. After use, skin becomes elastic and lifted up. Prolonged use maintains healthy, radiant and youthful skin.

Unlike other collagen additives, Fine Hyaluron & Collagen adopts tasteless collagen extracted from fish. As it is decomposed into very fine molecules, it could be effectively absorbed.

Blended with other beauty ingredients, it works to suppress the production of melanin, moisturize skin and reduce the appearance of imperfections such as spots, lines and dark circles.

How to use it:

For adults, consume 7g (around 1 tbsb) of Fine Hyaluron & Collagen every day. Dilute it with warm water or other drinks (such as orange juice or milk). You may also consume with desserts (such as yoghurt or ice cream). Suitable for pregnant women. Could be consumed with flu tablets.

Ingredients:

【Hyaluronic Acid : maintains watery and supple skin.
【Collagen】: helps vitalize skin.
【Elastin】: improves elasticity of skin.
【Adlay Extract】: detoxifies and whitens skin.
【Vitamin C】: accelerates metabolism.
【Vitamin H】: maintains healthy skin.

Such a shame to hear it didn’t work for you! I#m a little scared of collagen drinks. Especially the taste. I heard you can get collagen drinks from 8000 or something. Joyce from sparklyplayground did a review on it and it looks quite good. 🙂

FINE for some reason or another isn’t my cup of tea. They aren’t really that great compared to Meiji. I heard in Japan the best is FANCL.

I never tried collagen before because I am always skeptical if they work. I might give the Meiji one you mentioned a try. I saw them on Sasa with a quick search.

I’m sorry to hear it didn’t work out for you. I was scared to try these collagen powder myself. They’re really expensive and I’m not even sure if they will work. And I’m too young to worry about this stuff anyway.

I am sorry FINE didn’t work out for you, but it works on me too! the first thing I put in my mouth after wake up n brush my teeth is FINE 1 tbsp in a cup of hot water. I notice Change after the first can. I think I will give meijin a try since it works out for you, question: what’s different between regular and premium one?

I believe the biggest difference is the Coenzyme Q10. Premium has it whereas the regular one doesn’t. What Q10 does is accelerates metabolism to maintain healthy skin cell, fights against aging.

I have been a user of FINE Hyaluron and Collagen for almost a yr. It does work good to my skin and health. It’s makes my skin radiant and glowing.
I have tried other collagen but it didn’t work for me.

Just a tip when buying a supplement or anti aging product review its active ingredients, FINE has 5,250mg of Collagen, 60mg of Hyaluron, 100 vit c, elastin 15mg, biotin 45mcg, 450mg. It has only 6 active ingredients but dosage are high compared to other competing brands. So effect can be seen in less than 10days.
