Giveaway time! This time it’s a little different than my usual giveaways. I’m actually testing a new concept by having a contest and a giveaway going on at the same time. So basically winter’s slowly phasing out, so the site needs a new look. I’d like my blog readers to take part in the design so you guys will design and decide the banner for the site.
There will be two parts to the event. Banner Design Contest is for people who like to design a new banner for my site. If you decide not to show your creativity, you can still join the giveaway part. Though I’ll be sad.

The prizes:
1. Banner Design Contest – Urban Decay Show Pony Shadow Box (only eligible for followers who submit banner design)
2. 400+ Follower Giveaway – Urban Decay Naked Palette & Hello Kitty Sephora Nail Art Stickers (for every follower)
Deadlines:
Banner Design Contest deadline is 2/28/2011 midnight PST, giveaway ends 3/15/2011 midnight PST.
RULES: (Please read carefully. Entries not followed by the rules will be disqualified.)
Mandatory (apply to both Banner Design Contest and Giveaway):
You must be a public FOLLOWER of this site, the “Follow” button is to the right if you haven’t already followed.
Contest and Giveaway is open Internationally.
Terms:
By joining in the Banner Design Contest, you agree that Fruity Lashes use whole or part of your design. All submitted work must be original.
Banner size: 423 x 86 pixels (It will be on the top left corner.)
Email your design(s) to me with subject “Fruity Lashes Banner Design Contest”. In your email please include your Google Friend Connect (follower) name so I know who you are.
You can send in as many designs as you like in one email or separate emails.
Banner Design Contest ends on 2/28, then all my followers will have until 3/15 to vote for the best design. Followers who participate in the contest are automatically in the giveaway. Most voted design will be used on Fruity Lashes website and the designer will get the UD Show Pony shadow box. If there’re less than 10 designs or the most voted design has less than 20 votes, the prize will be rolled into giveaway. If tied votes occur, the winner will be chosen by random.org.
I will be listing designs when I receive them. So you can either join the giveaway and cast your vote later, or wait until the contest ends.
All products are brand new and bought with my own money. Products were only opened for taking pictures. I hold no responsibility for lost package due to shipping.

Giveaway Bonus Entries:
Follow FruityLashes on Twitter and twitter about this contest/giveaway. This will count as one bonus entry.
Post about this contest/giveaway with first picture on your blog. You can either do it as a blog post or post it on side bar or both. (url for the picture http://bit.ly/gT9aLs). Each posting will count as one bonus entry. So 2 total bonus entries for posting as blog post and side bar.
Each valid banner design counts as one bonus entry.
Vote for the Banner Design Contest designs. You can change your vote but only your last vote will count. Simply fill in the entry form with your follower name and the design number you choose. Your vote will count as one bonus entry.
Q&A:
Q: Is it possible to enter both the giveaway and the contest? Also, you should state more details like preferred style, background, etc.
A: Yes you can enter both the giveaway and contest. Actually by entering the contest, you’ll be automatically in the giveaway. And for the design details, i’d like it to be spring/summer themed. Thanks!
Q: Should I save the original photoshop file?
A: Yes please do keep a copy of your .psd file. Thanks!
