Get Organized with Laura Mercier Custom Artist Portfolio Palette
Just as the picture looks, how can we convert six singles into a palette effortlessly so that carrying a palette is much easier than carrying six? Not to mention it saves storage space too. Let’s take a look at what Laura Mercier has in her genius mind.
Problem:
Starting off with the scenario, you see there are 6 single color compacts. They are quite bulky to carry around. If you think about it, you might even crack one or two by dropping them while your trying to transport them from on area to another.
It’s just too much!!!!
Solution? Maybe?
Luckily if we take a closer look at each compact we notice that the shadows / colors can be taken out with little effort. Just lift up the frame as depicted with the arrow.
After lifting the frame, we are ready to take it out. The easy way is to hold two opposite corners and use gentle force, it will come right off.
So here we go, it is depotted without using heat, oven, or extra hardware. As simple as that.
THEEE Solution:
Laura Mercier has these custom compacts that are made for the colors that are depottable (hopefully this is a word). You can stick up to 6 in this wonderful sleek case. There is also a 3 well compact available. So to make life easier, you can just carry one portfolio on the go or for storage at home. After you put the colors you want in, just push down the frame and it’ll snap in place safe and ready to go.
Here is how it looks like in a complete packaging, so tidy and professional looking.
The outside looks just like a Laura Mercier palette.
Oh before I forget, you don’t ever have to worry about taking out each color and looking at the back for the name because there are 6 square holes on the bottom and the names can be seen from the stickers.
Laura Mercier’s Custom Artist Portfolio is quite a marvelous idea. You aren’t restricted to a set amount of colors or even the colors itself. Instead buy your own mix and match what you want and take it out all in a single palette carry case. You can even put in eye, lip, and cheek colors. It’s really easy to do and affordable too. The empty 6 well compact shown today only costs $10 and it’s totally reusable.
Laura Mercier single colors and compact portfolio can be found at www.LauraMercier.com, Nordstrom and Sephora.

Such an ingenious idea for makeup.
Indeed. Especially the depotting and palette customization.
Yey! I can pick out my favorite colors and make my own palette now.
I love the first pic you posted up top. It was eye catching. I thought you had smashed the shadows out or something.
I didn’t smash them but magically transformed them into a bigger sized palette.
