Giorgio Armani Spring 2012 Collection Eye Palette 1, Gloss D’Armani Pink 508 Swatch and Review

Spring cannot be Spring without the colors of flowers blooming. The colors are usually lighter in shade and outstandingly pretty. With pastel like colors, the palette features them with a lusty antique gold. Today, I will be featuring Giorgio Armani’s Eye Palette #1 and Gloss D’Armani in Pink 508.

Both Giorgio Armani’s Eye Palette and Gloss D’Armani are available online at www.giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com. They are $59.00 and $28.00 respectively.

Starting off with the palette. Giorgio Armani’s exterior box design is just as classy as their clothes. The all piano black design with white colored text makes it boldly sexy. The palette you see is #1 from its Spring 2012 collection.

The palette comes with a velvety felt touched pouch that protects the case from any scratches or damages.

Here is the case design for Spring 2012, it’s signature sleek black case with GA highlighted in the middle. On the side you can see the full name, “Giorgio Armani.”

Here is a diagram of how the palette is to be used with both Day and Evening look. Jade Green is the main color for both day and night, Sheer Gold can be added at night for extra glamor.

Upon gazing, the colors are magnificently gorgeous. From top to bottom the colors are Pearl Violet, Jade Green, Sheer Gold, and Greige. If you refer back to the diagram above, Jade Green is used the most regardless of day or evening look.

With full direct sunlight, the palette reflects back showing the shimmers and sparkles this palette holds.

A swatch of the colors on the arm immediately shows how shimmery and iridescently highlighting the eye shadows are. They are especially mesmerizing not to mention pigmented as well.

Gloss D’Armani is filled with the exclusive Color-Fil Shine Technology that this gloss brings a lot to the table. The technology gives the gloss an ability to form a supple mesh that traps pigments and pearlescent particles. Here is Pink 508.

As you might notice the packaging design of the gloss is in an oval top and base shape contrary to the round tubes a lot of companies make.

The sponge applicator is both soft and very easy to apply gloss over the lips.

A quick look at the gloss in sun shows us the color is filled with golden shimmers.

As radiant as it looks, the gloss is very silky like in texture that brings a whole lot of moisture so that it lasts for hours. Your lips won’t feel dry or chapped when in use.

Both Giorgio Armani’s palette and gloss are a must for Spring, bringing colors that shine and highlight the face. The palette comes with very glowy eye shadows that sparkle along with its pastel like colors. The gloss is as smooth as it can get and shiny with its trapped shimmers. The colors all coordinate very well bringing Spring closer to us than we think.

That palette looks exquisitely nice. I am contemplating now what to buy because every brand came out with pastels.. 🙁

After the Christmas collection disaster, I’ll try to stay away from Armani, their marketing and PR. And the spring collection is too plain to me anyway, but the gloss swatch looks quite nice.
