How Do I Blow Dry? And a Little Heart to Heart

Starting today I’ll be adding a new unit to my blog, Beauty Tips and more. It’s a unit that mainly focuses on skincare, makeup, haircare and nail related tips. I’m sure all of you guys have your own beauty tips. I just want to share mine. It may or may not work for you. This is something that I discovered by personal experience or I learned from friends or beauty books. Hopefully they’re helpful to you. Sharing is caring, right.

Enough said… So how do I blow dry my hair? Of course I use a blow dryer. You need a really good one. I use Panasonic EH-NA91 though you can use any good quality blow dryer, preferably with ionic. I used to have a T3 Evolution and it works pretty good too. Don’t try to cut corners with your blow dryer. If you’re going to use it every time you wash your hair, it’s totally worth every penny you invest on it. And you’ll definitely see a difference. I remember that last time when I visit my cousin, I borrowed her cheaper travel version Panasonic blow dryer. I was totally shocked to see my hair gets all frizzy after using it. So you get my point.

How long do I blow dry my hair? I have pretty thick hair but with my Panasonic dryer, it only takes me 5 minutes to blow dry. My trick is to only dry 70-80% and leave it for another 10-20 minutes. You can do your night time skincare routine or simply read a chapter of your favorite book. You’ll be amazed by how fast your hair dries and how they feel more smooth than you blow dry all the way.

So that was my tip for the day. Move on to the cliché part. I feel like I haven’t been commenting as much as before on my blog babes’ posts recently. When life gets busy, we get lazy. That was totally excuse and I admit that. If you think that I don’t comment on your blog, it’s not because I don’t like you anymore or I forgot about you, it’s just because sometimes I read it on my phone and I don’t feel like typing on the screen. I do read your blogs. I also follow you on bloglovin’ if you don’t know yet, it’s a great way to keep track of post updates.

So if you feel that I haven’t talked to you or commented on your blog as much, just drop a line, say “hey come visit me” and I’ll be there. Or if someone’s new and you would like me to check out your blog, just leave a comment as well. It’s always great to get to know new people.

Today is President’s day and I hope everyone had a great day today. I’m actually very mad because there’s no mailman and I have like 3 packages sitting at the post office. I can’t wait to see them tomorrow.

thanks for the tip. i always blow dry my hair fully because it tends to get limp if it’s half dry and i leave it. =/ but it’s so true that we should be investing in a good hair dryer ^^

  6. I agree on investing in a good blow dryer! I bought a T3 last year and absolutely love it. =D
