Jill Stuart Valetine Heart Gloss Trio

On February 14th, I talked to myself, “Self! Godiva’s chocolate is good. But isn’t it boring to have it every year? Should I get some Victoria’s Secret Cinnamon Mints instead? Sure why not! But there’s something even better I want. Muahahaha…” (Scroll to the bottom to see why I mention Cinnamon Mints.)

Inspired by chocolate gift box, a lovely heart-shaped tin in signature Jill Stuart pink shade. Yes I’m talking about Jill Stuart Valentine Heart Gloss Trio!

On the back of the heart tin box, there’s only a number printed “CC20YA”. Not so sure what it stands for.

Upon opening the case, 3 lip “truffles” unveil. Each of them are individually housed in brown paper cups that placed inside hot pink tissue. It’s super dreamy.

Even the cap is three dimensional brilliant-cut heart-shape with “J” engraved underneath.

2 out of the 3 lip glosses are shimmery which contain Pure Crystal Powder, except the middle one.

I have not yet to put these on, they’re just so yummy to look at. I did smell floral fruity scents from all of them.

101 Sweet Rendezvous

A bright, feminine pink perfectly suited to a girl who lives for love

102 Cross My Heart

An all-out pure red for lips that will make hearts dance

103 Platonic Romance

A nude pink, giving the impression of total purity

Compare to the earlier JS Fruity Lip Balm, it’s a lot smaller (4g vs. 7g), which will probably last me several months with daily use. My current Peach Tint almost hits pan now. Can’t wait to try these afterwards.

Ingredients and product information are framed by flowers, a true Jill Stuart packaging.

Cupid and hearts are the cutest presentation for Valentine.

So how do you think of today’s eye candy? I really can’t tell which will be my favorite, but hot pink is definitely on the top of my list.

Before ending today’s post, I have some photos for the whole Valentine Love Collection. I was tempted to get the mini nail polish set but the colors seem dupable. I wish we have a JS counter over here so I can go swatch and play around. Please come to US, Jill Stuart!

p.s. I remembered I used to buy Victoria’s Secret Cinnamon Mints years ago. They’re in hot lip shape. So the first time I saw JS Valentine campaign, it reminds me of the VS mints. Though the tin wasn’t in heart-shape. They were the sweet memories back in the days.

I love the look of those gloss but it’s much too expensive in my opinion. It’s a wonderful nice gift item though.
