Korres Guava Shower Gel and Lip Butter Review

Guava is such a blessing tropical fruit that is both juicy and naturally sweet. It is rich in vitamins A and C. Korres makes a whole line of skincare/bodycare products based on the fruit.

Let’s start off with the Shower Gel. Besides the Guava flavor or rather scent, Korres also has 5 others including Vanilla GuavaBasil Lemon, Japanese Rose, Fig, and Jasmin. The first impression you get while holding the bottle is that the color has a misty like splattered green / blue color. After opening the top cap, you can sense that there is quite a bit of tropical fruity flavors to it. It smells nice and sweet.

When you use it first shake well then lather it up for a foamy wash that is hydrating to the skin, almost like having body butter already built-in. The shower gel contains emollients and humectants providing a longer moisturizing effect while maintaining skin natural moisture levels. Talk about leaving the skin soft and smooth.

Korres Lip Butter comes in 7 different scents which are also different in color. Guava happens to be clear. Once you twist open the jar of lip butter, you can smell a bit of sweet fruitiness which is a lot more subtle than the shower gel.

The formula produces a rich and buttery feel. When you use it it melts almost instantly on the lips creating a shine. Providing moisture and hydration, this lip butter holds natural oils, shea butter, and rice wax.

Korres Guava scented products not only smell great, they also feel luxurious on the body. The tropical fruity sweet scent is very invigorating. Both the shower gel and lip butter deeply moisturize and hydrates the skin / lips, they are also long lasting leaving the skin soft and soothing.

Not big on the shower gel. Korres seems to be hard to wash off.

I am in need of a new lip butter. I might check Korres out since they are known for the fruit flavors.
