Korres Pomegranate Balancing Cream-Gel Moisturiser Review

During the transition between fall to winter, the weather slowly but surely becomes colder and colder. That’s when my poor combination skin becomes the victim. It craves for moisture but never gets satisfied so it produces excessive oil to combat the dryness. What’s even worse the excessive oil meets excessive sebum, disaster happens.

Luckily for Korres’s Pomegranate Balancing Cream-Gel Moisturiser, it deeply hydrates while balancing oil generation.

The moisturiser comes in 1.25 oz for $32.00 at www.korresusa.com. It’s targeted for oily and combination skin type.

The outside of the box is pretty neat with the fading color background and the pomegranate seeds scattered all over the bottom.

The moisturiser provides immediate and lasting hydration because of its Carob tree polysaccharides and Pro-Vitamin B5. It also helps tighten pores and tone skin with Pomegranate extract. Finally there is also anti-oxidant benefits because of the Avocado extract.

Once I popped open the jar, I immediately saw the texture which was what it was described as a cream-gel. It also reminded me of a consistency such as the French cheese Epoisses de Bourgogne. I am not talking about the exterior crust on the outside but rather the inside. There is also a light fresh scent that I can’t quite relate to pomegranate, but it smells nice for sure.

After scooping a little bit of it, it obviously looks like a creme with a thicker consistency. The irony is that even though it looks thick, it really isn’t, it’s really lightweight and easy to apply. Absorption is almost instant so I guess my skin likes it.

Korres Pomegranate Balancing Cream-Gel Moisturiser works really well for my combination skin. I’ve been using it as my day time moisturizer everyday. My skin never felt better, it is well hydrated but doesn’t get too greasy during the day. I’m happy to see my skin not breaking out during this fall-winter transition. It should have something to do with the natural ingredients this moisturizer puts in. Overall it’s a great light moisturizer for oily and combination skin.
