Korres Quercetin & Oak Eye Primer Swatch and Review
We all know how important a primer works for makeup application. It acts as a canvas and provides a buffer between our skin and the makeup products. There is no doubt that we should always use a primer whether it is a face primer or an eye primer. What if the primer also works as a concealer and has anti-aging ingredients? Wouldn’t that be added bonuses?! Well today let me introduce you the ultimate eye primer that does it all. It’s Korres Quercetin & Oak Eye Primer.
“A 3-in-1 Eye Primer, Corrector, and Antiager. Provides a 360° smooth canvas around the delicate eye area, ensuring crease-proof, long-lasting eye shadow and concealer wear. Enriched with Quercetin & Oak extracts, it smoothes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to provide smooth, softer skin, while visibly improving skin texture.”
The #1 key ingredient to this primer is the Quercetin & Oak extract which provide a powerful antioxidant that combats and improves any aging signs.
Inside the primer is a soft doe foot applicator, it was fairly easy to use.
Initially the primer shows a peachy beige color. The consistency is soft yet creamy. After smoothing out, the color completely blends into my skin color. The arrow shows the area before blending.
So I had to apply an eyeshadow to test out the result. The one on the left is without the primer whereas the right is applied on the primer. As you can see, the eyeshadow becomes much more vivid with a bolder and brighter look. Furthermore, the eyeshadow application was a lot easier than without the primer. I also tried it out as a concealer. It covers dark circles and dullness really well. Most importantly it stays put all day without fading or caking.
I really like this eye primer/concealer/anti-ager. The main ingredient Quercetin & Oak is a strong and powerful antioxidant agent that I trust. As a matter of fact, I’ve been using the Quercetin & Oak eye cream for a while and I think it works great. But that should come in another review. As for this primer itself, it does what it claims, crease resisting and long lasting. Though I can’t tell you if it smoothes out fine lines or wrinkles (I don’t experience lines and wrinkles yet), I do feel it goes on quite smooth on my eye area.

Thanks for the review! Interesting product!
Till I get to the US again, I’ll just have to contend with reading rave after rave reviews of this eye primer. I don’t feel like paying the rip-off price for Korres in the UK!
Come to the US!
OoOooOooo nice! : D
I saw this at Sephora and was thinking of using the FF but ended up not buying it. I read some mixed feelings regarding this primer because I dont know hot it performs.
Sephora probably has another event next month. I think it’s called VIB. I would say give a try out because chances are you might like it.
