Laura Mercier Spring 2012 Makeup Collection

Spring 2012 Colour Story: Lingerie

romantic. modern. femine.

The Trend

Laura’s inspiration for 2012 draws from her background as a fine art painter and focuses on the mood and attitude of women through different art periods.  For Spring 2012, she focuses on the soft romantic colours and fabrics of the Victorian Age. Her collection is a modern interpretation of this feminine era, showcasing a palette of colours inspired by Boudoir vintage lingerie: lace, linen, silks, and petticoats.

The Look

Ultra-feminine lips and cheeks are in shades of warm corals and modern peaches while eyes are alluring in neutral browns and taupe greys.

Lip and Nail Collection

trendy new shades for lips & nails
sheer. bold. très chic.

For spring, Laura has created a fun, flirty colour statement that pairs chic new shades for lips and nails. Featuring lip-comforting Gel Lip Colour with a soft, sheer payoff and high-shine Nail Lacquer with a bold finish, this bright, new collection reflects a modern mood for spring.

Gel Lip Colour:

  • Hydrating formula feels comfortable to wear.
  • Conditioning lip colour that glides on smoothly and evenly delivering a sheer wash of colour.
  • Lips are instantly soothed upon application.
  • Emollient rich formula features peach, apricot and almond oils.

Nail Lacquer:

  • Long-lasting, ultra-smooth formula provides chip-resistant color and intense shine.
  • Fast-drying so you can quickly polish and go.
  • Special brush has a flat design that allows for smoother, more even coverage and an easier application.
  • Formulated without formaldehyde, toluene, or dibutyl phthalate (DBP).

Gel Lip Colour: Press bullet to lips using even pressure to apply colour on both upper and lower lips. For a more precise application, apply to lips using the Lip Colour Brush.

Nail Lacquer: For the smoothest application, allow the brush to fan out and coat the entire nail. For best results, allow each coat to dry 30 seconds before applying next layer. Continue until desired coverage is achieved.

  • 5 Gel Lip Colour (Clementine, Poppy, Dollface, Rosette, Orchid)
  • 5 Nail Lacquer (Sizzle, Cabana, Oh La La, Flamingo, Luscious)

  • Limited (all shades)

  • Gel Lip Colour: $22.00, Nail Lacquer: $18.00

  • Gel Lip Colour: 0.112 oz./3.2g, Nail Lacquer: 10.35 ml/0.35 fl. oz.

The Gel Lip Colours seem so juicy aren’t they? I really like the orange on the top.

I like the products inside, it’s just I’m scared of snakes even though it’s fake.
