Les Jeans De Chanel Denim Inspired Nail Polish Blue Rebel Swatch and Review

After seeing Blue Boy and Coco Blue, let’s talk about Blue Rebel, the last polish from Les Jeans De Chanel Collection in celebration of Fashion’s Night Out. The color is really rich, more like a pair of dark washed jeans.

Description on Chanel:

Blue Rebel, the darkest lacquer in the exclusive LES JEANS DE CHANEL collection, was developed in celebration of Fashion’s Night Out by Peter Philips, Creative Director of Chanel Makeup. It recalls the inky dye used to create dark-wash jeans — an iconic fashion staple and an essential part of every modern woman’s wardrobe.

Blue Rebel is also a limited edition polish from Chanel and is sold for $29.

Blue Rebel is a deep navy blue that doesn’t contain any shimmers, it’s also the darkest blue color in the collection.

Blue Rebel is the most pigmented out of all three. One coat goes on nearly opaque and with two coats the color just gets a bit more intense. But the difference is minimal. Even without a top coat, the polish looks like a perfect creme but with glossy finish. The color reminds me of my recently bought Citizens of Humanity jeans.

With a coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, the polish instantly transform into a much glossier finish with a tad more enhancement.

Here are two more pictures of the top coat inaction with the Blue Rebel with direct sunlight.

Overall, I am very pleased with Blue Rebel from the Les Jeans Collection. Both coverage and consistency is phenomenal. It is a bit thicker than Blue Boy but still very easy to work with. The finish is also very similar to the Blue Boy’s, creme with glossy finish. The only difference between the two is one is a classic blue and the other is a dark washed blue.

p.s. I will probably have one more comparison and round up post coming up in the next few days.

Blue Rebel indeed looks like a dark wash jeans, but very pretty.

Love this navy blue color. It looks similar to one of my other polish but can’t remember the name.

I just ordered my set from Chanel.com because my Neiman Marcus was sold out of this set. I really love everyone of them in the collection.

Though I think the color is nice but $29 a bottle? That’s a little too much.

I think the $29 is for this set but the regulars will be at $25 still… I hope!

This color looks like some kind of blue ink. I love how glossy it looks. I wasn’t sure if I want to order this color online because none of my local stores have it. Now you make me really like it and I think I just going to order from the website.
