L’Occitane Shea Butter Verbena Liquid Soap and Verbena Body Lotion Review

Every time walking into a L’Occitane store it’s like a kid going into a candy shop. You want to get everything since they have so many good products. Recently, I fell in love with the Shea butter liquid soap and body lotion in the Verbena line.

L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Verbena Liquid Soap (www.loccitane.com) and Verbena Body Lotion (www.loccitane.com) are available at $24.00 each. You can also get them at Nordstrom, click here for liquid soap and here for body lotion.

The Shea Butter Verbena Liquid Soap comes in a clear container that is filled with 500 ml worth of soap. This soap is gentle for all sorts of skin conditions. Do note that there is Shea Butter and soothing aloe-vera extract. I actually love this bottle since it is so huge that the family can use it altogether. The pump itself is quite ergonomic where there is a curve where you use your finger to pump. After using this soap I found that it was easily rinsed off along with keeping your hands cleaned. There is a lemon scent in this soap that comes with the main scent, “Verbena.”

The Verbena Body Lotion gives you a fresh citrus aroma right out of the squeeze bottle. The lotion is packed in a 250 ml that’s enriched with organic verbena extract. It brings fresh citrus to the nose while feeling lightweight on the skin. Did I mention it is also easily absorbed? I think the word to describe this is, “Body Milk.” I like to use this after taking a shower or a bath, it feels very soothing and comfortable on the skin.

Both the liquid soap and body lotion are very moisturizing yet refreshing. The Shea butter leaves skin extra soft without irritating. The uplifting citrus scent makes you feel anew and awake. It is like drinking coffee but without the caffeine! Next time your skin desires a recharge, just grab a bottle or two of L’Occitane’s Verbena scented soap and lotion, you’re guaranteed to feel refreshed in no time.

Now that you mentioned it, it does smell like those lemon scented ones for wood oil.
