NARS Eyeliner Stylo Carpates Nuku Hiva Atlantic Koala Swatches and Review

When it comes down to eyeliners, there are so many things that could go wrong. For example, some eyeliners smudge that make you look like a panda soon after you step out of the house, while some other ones just simply don’t last all day so you doubt yourself ever put on a liner. The list just keeps going on because the styles and formula all matter. If only there were professional quality ones that had everything you need in them. Luckily, I came across a few artsy like eyeliners called Stylos made by Nars that makes an ordinary person feel like a professional artist in makeup. Make way for the new NARS Eyeliner Stylos.

The 4 all new Eyeliner Stylos from NARS are a work of art with up to 24 hours of lasting power and ultimate in precision. Precision meaning only a single stroke gets a straight line done. These Stylos colors are 8126 Carpates (Absolute Black), 8127 Nuku Hiva (Tarnished Brown), 8128 Atlantic (Deep Sea Blue), and 8129 Koala (Smoked Grey).

Each stylo is color coded at the end just like some of the professional artist pens. If you still want to know what the unique names for the colors are, you could turn it around to uncover the names and info on each.

Upon taking off the cap, you will notice that the stylo tip is as precise as possible. The felt applicator is super fine and thin for ease of use.

When I first started using the Stylos, I was thinking about the pigmentations. Some of the questions I had are: Do I have to keep on drawing the lines to thicken it? How long does it last? Is it smudge proof?

To answer my own questions, I put these liners to test. Surprisingly, the shape of the lines is not only easy to control, the color is also remarkably vibrant and amazingly pigmented. The thickness of the lines varies depending on my pen angle and pressure. It’s much easier to draw than I thought. The lines stuck on and stayed on. I tried to rub the letters with my fingers, for 2 minutes they were as clear as the second I drew. I’ve been wearing these colors in the past week, I had no problem with smudging. And they all lasted more than 12 hours before I removed my makeup, though I would assume they can last even longer. So you probably get the answer to my questions already. And I must say that I’m really in love with them.

Eyeliners made from formula to packaging really makes the pen styled design look superb, and upon picking it up you feel like pro. These long lasting and highly pigmented Stylos are something that can enhance the overall eye shape in a cinch or maybe even in the blink of an eye. With 4 brand new colors, these Stylos really rock!

Such a great swatch idea, makes them look so much more interesting :3 Tropic is the only NARS eyeliner I have, but the names are so alluring, I might get some for that reason!

Nuku Hiva and Carpates has me confused for some reason. Though Koala and Atlantic is quite understandable I guess.
