Nicole by OPI Holiday 2011 Glitters Swatch and Review

Glitzy and glam colors are perfect for the holiday season. It’s even better when they are bright and sparkly with festive looks. Nicole by OPI’s Holiday Glitters just turned the lights on for XMAS this season!

Each polish is $7.04 online at www.target.com.

NI 365 Glitter In My Stocking

Starting off with this gold colored polish, the dominant color is obviously gold with hints of red. This color makes a perfect ornament for the tree where you put presents under. The color has a very festive and bright look.

NI 366 My Sleigh’s in the Shop

Next we have a magenta dominated color with hints of silver. The overpowering color of magenta makes the silvery color very subtle. Magenta during the holiday almost reminds me of wearing a robe in this color drinking hot chocolate at the table.

NI 367 Orna-ment for Each Other

This polish is probably the most festive looking color in this set. It not only reminds me of Christmas with the red and the hints of gold, it also reminds me of Santa’s costume that is bright red with hints of golden sparkles. This is almost like a reverse of Glitter In My Stocking.

NI 368 Snow-man of My Dreams

Finally, the last color is a mix mash of different colors with a dominant light blue. Colors include blue, silver, magenta, red, gold, and yellow. If a snowman was this colorful it would be perfect. I can picture the carrot as the nose, the magenta and red colored scarf, and much more!

With a single coat, the colors look a little sheer especially the Snow-Man of My Dreams.

A double coat makes the polishes perfect with bright and festive looking colors. The colors are also very vibrant!

Let’s take an up close look at each color. As you can see each color, except the last one, all have hinted color undertones which makes the main color standout more than ever. The last picture of Snow-Man is again a mash of everything that sparkles with different colors that shout out.

Get in the holiday spirit and turn your nails into ornament like colors. The colors are bright and vibrant with a bit of complexity bringing out the best.

YAY! More glitter polishes! These are really pretty though. I like “My Sleigh’s in the Shop” and “Snow-man of my Dreams.” (heh, cute names too).

I got a few of these from Target. They are so easy to apply. I even got Ornament on me perfectly with one coat!

I stumbled upon your site from Google and I was amazed at all the stuff that you do. Seeing all your OPI swatches are really outta earth. I wonder if ornament and my sleigh could be combined together to make something bizarre.
