Orlane Gentle Cleansing Foam Face & Eye Make-up Remover Review

Removing makeup and cleansing the face used to be two different things. I remember when I had to use an eye makeup remover, then a face remover prior to cleansing the face. Sometimes the removers would also leave on an oily icky feeling. Though, having them separately has its benefits too. Today, we will be taking a look at Orlane’s Gentle Cleansing Foam which acts as an all in one cleanser for the face.

Orlane Gentle Cleansing Foam Face & Eye Make-Up Remover

Orlane Gentle Cleansing Foam Face & Eye Make-Up Remover comes in a light blue pump bottle that is clear and soothing to the eye. Putting it on the counter top shows a clean yet sophisticated look.

This cleansing foam is quite gentle to the touch and feel as well as it being a mousse upon dispensing. It is noted that this cleanser is efficient enough to clean up face and eyes as well as remove makeup in one go. There is apple amino acids included which has a dual purpose of softening the skin as well as exfoliating. So after using this, impurities will be gone and the face will feel cleansed and fresh. There’s also a subtle scent to it that’s quite pleasant when using it.

So let’s take a look at how the cleanser works, pump two doses of foam on the palm of the hands and lather. Then put it over the face and eye contours to cleanse. Make sure to rinse well. This can be used regardless of the time of day.

In the next few pictures below you can see how foamy this cleanser gets and how it changes forms to almost like a cleansing cream. It’s super soft, gentle and glides onto the skin with no friction at all. Afterwards, the skin feels cleansed and moisturized with a healthy glow. The formula indeed is really gentle, even for the delicate eye area it doesn’t sting or tighten the skin.

Now for our test subjects, random colors zigzagged ready to be wiped off. From left to right we have waterproof eyeliner, lipstick, eyeshadow, and mascara. As you might tell throughout the pictures, the cleanser does quite a good job on taking off the makeup even though it is a gentle cleanser. In one wash most of the makeup is gone with the exception of a slight faint of the waterproof eyeliner from the far left. The cleanser does its job on keeping the skin cleansed and also being gentle. I am quite pleased with the result considering it’s such a gentle foam cleanser and it’s so easy to use.

Truly an effective gentle cleanser that is made of high caliber for describing Orlane’s product. The rich foam turned cleansing cream rinses off easily without leaving any residue of oiliness. Nor does it leave skin slightest tightness. After a single use of this cleanser, I feel that it can be used as an everyday cleanser that isn’t harsh but takes care of things in one shot. The pump design also comes in handy when we don’t have to deal with a squeeze tube or even opening the jar to get product out. For the girls who have sensitive eyes and would like to use a gentle makeup remover, this cleansing foam is worth trying.
