Pacifica Color Quench Natural Moisture Lip Tint in Guava Berry and Blood Orange Review

Thirsty and dry lips need quenching. That means, we all need to eat enough fruits, especially organic fruits. Fruits are there to provide hydration and other vitamins which lead to relieving chapped dry lips. If fruits weren’t an option then we proceed to plan 2, lip treatment with moisturizing effects. But what about adding a little color and flavor to it? You get the best of everything into one. That’s looking fashionable, smelling great, and treating lips.

Pacifica got the Color Quench Natural Moisture Lip Tint to help you achieve all of those.

Pacifica Color Quenches are a lip treatment plus a hint of color for spot-on, natural looking smooth lips. It also provides moisture with ingredients like coconut oil and essential fatty acids for the thirsty lips.

“I set out to create my dream lip product and, at last, this is it: big hydration to feed thirsty lips and sheer, sexy color for the prettiest, most kissable mouth ever!” — Pacifica Co-Founder and Lead Formulator, Brook Harvey-Taylor.

So the two colors I will be showing you today or shall I say flavors are Guava Berry (Left) and Blood Orange (Right). There are a total of 4 shades for $9 each on, they also have 20% off discount sitewide until Nov. 7, 2011. Or you can get a set of trios of Brook’s favorites, including these two and Coconut Nectar.

Let’s start off with Guava Berry. On the outside the color is a purplish while the entire thing smells like organic fruity guava and berry combined. It’s pretty satisfying.

After using the lip tint, I noticed silver, blue, and a bit of pink shimmer producing a very cool tone. This is how the lip tint looks after applying to the lips. The surface looks extremely emollient and you can see the tiny shimmers in it.

Blood Orange is next, probably one of my favorite fruits. The color of it looks like the inside of a blood orange which is very red.

The blood orange comes with red shimmer and looks a bit of warm tone.

Both Guava Berry and Blood Orange are spread with subtle shimmers creating a fashionable effect while performing lip treatment. Both aren’t very pigmented, they are pretty sheer which gives a much more natural look. *Caution* you might become craving for fruits after applying these on because of the great fruity smell!

I had some recent effects of dry and chapped lips which were a pain! Coming across these lip tints really saved me from any lip problems. After 2 to 3 uses my lips were all hydrated and back to normal. I also love the smell of the lip tints which made me run to the nearest Whole Foods to buy a bag full of fruits.

Pacifica Color Quench can be found at! Don’t forget to take advantage of their 20% off sale.

Not a problem. If you are looking at getting more than one. The trio might work out for you. I saw it a few days ago on their site for less than $15 I think.
