Paul & Joe Beaute Spring 2012 Blusher Stick 002 Minou Swatch and Review

As cute as it may look, Paul & Joe’s Spring 2012 collection has a “Cat in the Hat!” No, it’s not like pulling a cat out of a hat magic trick and no I am not talking about Dr. Seuss! Although, I loved reading his books when I was a little kid. They always seemed to be amusing and fun to read. Back to P & J. The entire collection this season is all based on kitties whether the paws or the face of a kitty. This collection is actually a celebration of P & J’s 10th anniversary.  You can take a look at the press release here.

You can find the kitty at www.beautybay.com for $29.30 with free worldwide shipping for a limited time. It is also for sale at $28.00 each at www.b-glowing.com and www.beautyhabit.com. This Spring 2012 blusher stick comes in 3 different colors at a weight of 4 g.

Today we will be able to see the blusher stick in Minou! If you stare at the box long enough you might see that there are a few different kitty expressions that are quite cute and amusing. I also noticed that the printing on the box is quite neat. The kitty faces are complete if you turn the box over. Check out the second photo to see what I mean.

Minou is the 2nd color in the series of the 3 blusher sticks. If you open the tab on the top be sure to see a kitty “Miaou.”

Once you take out the blusher stick, you will notice that the packaging is just awesome. There is no doubt about it. The packaging on the stick makes it hard to slip off your fingers and is quite lightweight for easy application. If you look at the end of the cap there it is, Paul & Joe’s insignia.

Upon taking off the cap you will also notice different kitty expression drawings all over the silver tube.

THERE IT IS! The intricately delicately designed cat with 3 whiskers on each side and a cute bow. Not to mention the fedora like hat is at a perfect angle! I took extra photos of the kitty for you to see…

Each blusher stick is made with moisturising and skin softening ingredients. The ingredients include Orange Flower Water and White Lily Extract. Rosemary Leaf Extract and Jojoba Oil are the soothing emollients that leave the skin smooth, soothed, and moisturized while giving a flawless complexion.

This stick of goodness is so easy to glide on the skin. The application was a breeze. This pastel pink color gives Spring a really nice transition from Winter. As you can see on the left is the blusher stick swiped and on the right is the color blended. It’s subtle and fresh while looking natural.

Here is a photo with flash. Specks of shimmers are seen here reacting back to the light.

Paul & Joe Blusher Stick in Minou is as cute as it can get. Being formulated with a moisturizing ingredients, it indeed feels wonderful on the skin. The only sad thing is using it. Poor Kitty! Other than that, Minou works best on lighter toned skin as it shows more color. For darker skin tone, Minou will add just a hint of color. If you are in the mood for kitties, then this is the perfect blush for you!

This time I promised myself not to skip the cathead lipsticks, like I did the first time and still horribly regret it. I love the colour and I love its finish, too!

The cat head is the cutest thing in this collection. Although I am still quite sad after using it.

    GASPS you mean to say…you swatched…that cat’s … head? :O

It’s such a gorgeous colour, but if I bought it I think I’d cry if I tried to use it. XD

    Thank you for the review!

That is way too cute!! I adore the colour too. I’ve been looking for the perfect pink cream blush. I may have to try this. Shame to ruin the kitty though.

Did you know the lipstick can be interchangeable tops with this blush?

I would not want to mess up the kitty. It is so cute and the color is pretty for Spring.

This entire set is way too quite. It’s not just the blush sticks but the others too.

I could never bring myself to use the poor kitty’s head. Well, that is unless it made me look super fantastic, then I’d show no mercy!
