Paul & Joe Beaute Spring 2012 Lipstick C 076 Meow Swatch and Review
From the photo below you notice a few things. The lipstick is paw printed by a cat. The outside packaging consists of a women’s face scattered all over a crimson like red paper packaging. Lastly, you see Paul & Joe branding in the middle.
It’s Paul & Joe Lipstick C 076 Meow!. Read on to see a little surprise!
What happened to the packaging?! You might think I did some cosmetic surgery on the lipstick. I mean doesn’t the packaging look like the blusher stick from the previous post? Well you will see why next!
So apparently the lipstick itself comes in cartridge format whereas the outside container is made of paper. On the side note, don’t expose the outside casing to water or else the packaging will be doomed.
Here is what I did regarding the cosmetic surgery. Since both the blusher stick and lipstick is interchangeable, I decided to take everything apart and have a little fun. I basically mixed up the packaging. But I eventually put everything back the way it was suppose to be.
Now back to the lipstick itself. Paul & Joe Lipstick C comes in a box that has a cut out in the front of a cat shape. Exposed through the cut out is the lipstick packaging. It’s quite an art work.
One of the works of art on this lipstick is that you could match up the faces on the base and the cap.
Each female drawing has a different expression which I have tried to capture in the next few photos for you to examine and see.
The lipstick has a detailed paw prints of the kitty scattered throughout the entire tube. It’s quite cute! There is a total of 10 paw prints altogether around the lipstick.
The color of Meow! is a rather natural pink that has very little or next to zero shimmers.
After applying it on my arm, I noticed that the finish was almost matte. During the application the lipstick itself felt soft and easy to apply. It is quite pigmented in color as well. Since the consistency is not overly oily so it doesn’t slide or fade as fast and lasting power is quite long compared to the average lipstick. With a bit of lip gloss, you can still achieve a high gloss finish. If not, the color is beautiful as is.
With a long lasting application, Meow! comes in a natural looking pink that isn’t an exploded or pop looking but one that is wearable regardless of the occasion. From the outside packaging to the inside each detail is made towards cat lovers. Who doesn’t like little kittens anyways? Grab these while you still can at b-glowing.com.

OH MEOW! Have fun! I’ve Sex Kitten.
P & J never ceases to amaze. Looking at the package design I never would have thought it was interchangeable.
It’s quite cool that they allow interchanging between packages. More looks and styles.
Ok, really now. I wanted to miss out on the entire collection even though I loved everything about it, but I’ve only mad bad experiences with the brand in terms of pigmentation and opacity, but this is like the most perfect everyday pink and I need to get it. NOW!
You need it for the design!!
So much details on the packaging. The paw prints are simply adorable.
Now I want the lipstick too!
How long does the lipstick last?
It’s not super long lasting but it will last you a good few hours.
