PHYTO PhytoKeratine Reparative Shampoo, Conditioning Treatment and Serum Review

Hate split ends and brittle hair? I know I do! Especially when I wake up in the morning seeing my hair on the pillow. It’s the nightmare! Phyto’s PhytoKeratine line claims to be able to fix that. Let’s see how these 3 products do to repair your hair stack.

Phyto’s PhytoKeratine is currently available as Phyto Repairing Collection gift set at Sephora for $56.00 containing all 3 products.

If you purchased each seperately the cost break down would be:

PhytoKeratine Shampoo (6.7 oz) $24.00
PhytoKeratine Reparative Conditioning Treatment (5.07 oz) $32.00
PhytoKeratine Reparative Serum for Damaged Ends (1.01 oz) $30.00

Starting off with the shampoo, there is a really cool description of two active ingredients found on

Phytokératine Reparative Shampoo features two advanced ingredients inspired by the latest cosmetic techniques. Inspired by the Lipofilling procedure, Keratin Filler injects botanical keratin deep into the cortex to repair hair’s internal structure. Hyaluronic acid is a common ingredient found in skincare products. This moisture-loving molecule can absorb 1,000 times its weight in water and helps restore optimal hydration levels deep down in the hair fiber.

Aside  from the magic of the ingredients, the shampoo is housed in a Phyto signature lightweight aluminum bottle that is quite unique than the regular shampoo. When you take off the cap, you would need to pour the shampoo out instead of squeezing or pumping.

With this shampoo you are able to gently cleanse the hair. While you cleanse, your hair’s fiber core is being reconstructed and repaired. Finally, the cuticles are then sealed and you notice the hair become shinier and silkier.

The consistency on the shampoo is quite thick but the great thing is, it’s really moisturizing. It smells absolutely amazing, fresh and floral. The foam is rich yet airy, I really enjoyed working with it. Rinsing off is also effortless with the hair feeling soft.

Contrary to the shampoo, the conditioning treatment from Phyto comes with a pump but is also in an aluminum bottle.

The purpose of the conditioning treatment is to repair the fiber cores with Keratin. The result would be the fiber cores being restored to the right moisture levels with Hyaluronic acid.

The usage is really simple, it is to be used after shampoo just like any other conditioner. But better yet, you don’t need to wait for 5 or even 10 minutes, 1 minute is all it takes to do the work.

The consistency of the treatment is like a light cream. You just need one pump or two to fix those week ends. It also has the same floral scent like the shampoo which I consider a treat to calm my mind.

The last thing you need for your hair is a serum that helps further repair damaged hair especially split ends.

This serum restores suppleness and silkiness while moisturizing the hair. The consistency on this is a lightweight easy application while you smooth it through the hair.

The way that you would use this is pump once and apply it on towel-dried hair. Make sure the application is focused on the ends. Afterwards just style as usual.

Phyto’s PhytoKeratine line is made to repair damaged hair. Not only does it repair, it cleanses and moisturizes the hair intensively. Three products work as a system to bring back shine, softness and suppleness. The hair is stronger than ever and the split ends are instantly repaired. Botanical keratin helps detangling and reducing frizz while hyaluronic acid hydrates the delicate hair. The pleasant botanical scent is truly relaxing. It’s like having a daily hair smoothing treatment at the same time enjoying aromatherapy. Also note, Phyto is free from the following: Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Synthetic Dyes, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, GMOs, and Triclosan. The great thing is the set on Sephora is a bargain at $56 vs $86 if purchased separately.

Phyto is probably the best shampoo maker sold at Sephora. I tried this brand before and they are the only ones with the unique steel cans.

The case is really unique. Never have I seen anything with aluminum / steel design for bottle.

This brand cured one of my ongoing hair disorder. I had a case of bad flakes. Couldn’t find anything to help it until I was recommended this brand.

This brand does have a lot of different bottles specifically for different needs. It is quite nice that the formula is pretty good for curing things.

Every brand is alla bout Keratine these days. I wonder if there is a brand that doesn’t advertise it.
