RMK Ingenious Powder Eyes P-07 Light Blue Swatch and Review

This spring with color blocking being the fashion trend, pastel colors are really the hottest on or off the runway. Among all the pastel colors, light blue naturally brings bliss and cheer to us which make it one of the most fun colors for spring. So today I have to feature RMK’s Ingenious Powder Eyes P-07. It is the purest light blue that almost look like the sky.

RMK’s Ingenious Powder Eyes P-07 Light Blue is a single eye shadow that comes in a traditional RMK packaging. Among the total 40 single eye shadows, P-07 is under the category of Pearlescent, hence the symbol P. As you might notice the packaging is very similar to the other compacts in the brand. The eye shadow itself weighs 1.9 g.

When you take out the single eye shadow the case is a sleek silvery reflective case. It’s quite similar to the other eyeshadow palettes I have featured here, and here.

Here is another photo of the case itself lying down with top up.

The color itself is a light blue that can be interpreted as a sky blue. Hey it even matches my background color. The shadow is finely pressed with soft pearlescent finish and multi-colored micro shimmers. It looks very vivid in the pan.

The compact also comes with a brush applicator. The handle is a bit short but the bristles are super soft and gentle to the eyelid.

With a sun reflection, you could quickly see some of the shimmers reacting towards the light and the details of the make on the shadow.

Here is a swatch photo taken in the sunlight. The left side is bare eye shadow without any base while the right side is done on top of eyeshadow base. With the base, it is more vibrant and slightly more pigmented, but still really subtle. The coverage runs sheer with almost translucent shine coming from underneath. Not focused on pigmentation, the shadow rather brings dimensions to the eyes. The shimmers are so fine that you don’t have to worry about overdoing it. The powder is silky smooth and blends effortlessly. There is minimum to no fallouts when used with eyeshadow base.

RMK Ingenious Powder Eyes Light Blue is such a cute color for Spring. It not only can be worn alone for a fresh streak of color, it can also be layered on top of other shadows at the center eyelid as a highlighter, or even be used as a lower lash liner for a teared look. One single shadow, endless possibilities!

Packaging looks shiny and slick. The color doesn’t seem to be too pigmented though.
