Rouge Bunny Rouge Loves Lights Highlighting Powder 005 Goddess Swatch and Review

Rouge Bunny Rouge Loves Lights Highlighting Powder in Goddess comes packed with the powder to give you a healthy glow and look that people might think you just came back from the beach! But that’s not all, the look is perfected in a way so that it looks smooth and real.

This palette is available online at and is for sale at $64.84.

Rouge Bunny Rouge’s Highlighting Powder comes in a black round box with white floral designs graffiti all over it. Once the top is opened the powder is snugly fitted inside.

Here is a description of RBR’s enchanting story about this powder:

“When night falls in the Enchanted Garden and soft moonlight bathes the resplendent beaches of the Grand Moon Seas, nymphs will emerge and dance and whirl weightlessly around a fire.  The secret of their weightlessness lies in the starlight powder coating the beach – every night the nymphs luxuriate in it to sustain the magic of their skin and grace of their movement. “

On the outside of the compact is a flower design on the top. You can also interpret it as snow flakes because from a far it kinda looks like it. The packaging design has a little bit of weight to it considering it is made of plastic. But it’s not heavy to the point where carrying it becomes a hassle.

The first thing you notice once the powder is opened is a thin white sponge with RBR’s logo in the middle of it. On the next layer is a plastic film cover with the rabbits holding the insignia. After removing the film is our actual product. The color is a very healthy looking one meaning, after applying it on the contours of the face it gives a healthy look with glow. That is because of the subtle shimmers in the powder.

Looking at this highlighting powder, the sun light reflects sparse shimmers throughout the palette.

I was quite curious how this would look on me so when I swatched it I wanted to compare. On the left is a heavily swatched line of the powder with shimmers that reflect with the sunlight. On the right is a very evenly blended application. The formula is also quite silky with buttery smooth texture. The finely milled powder does not sink into pores and fine lines. So the overall application gives the complexion a more polished look.

With flash you can see how it reacts with a harsh light. Afterall, this is powder is luminous yet sophisticated.

My first initial impression was that this might look a bit too much on the skin tone from the concentrated swatch look. But after applying it evenly on the face I immediately thought that this was really nice because how natural it looked but most importantly it feels incredibly moisturizing! The shimmers also add a lot of character and glow when light hits the area. For someone who wants a natural sun-kissed glow but don’t want the extra shine, Goddess is the perfect choice for you.
