Save Those Thirsty Hands with OPI Pampered Hands Avoplex Nail & Cuticle Replenishing Oil, High-Intensity Hands & Nail Cream Review

Sometimes a long day of work leaves our poor hands dry and blistery. OMG! Not to mention the painfulness of it being dry. OUCH! Our nails and cuticles will be damaged as well. But sometimes it’s not only work, it can be anything from washing dishes or doing chores that expose our helpless little hands to abrasiveness…

Our exhausted and bare hands just need to be pampered and there needs to be a solution for it! So, OPI came out with a solution that supposedly gives our hands some pampering. Well two solutions as oppose to one but it’s still relaxin’… sorta like a spa. Such is an “Ahhhh” moment.

The specially marked packaging comes with an Avoplex Nail & Cuticle Replenishing Oil and an Avoplex High-Intensity Hand & Nail Cream. Both are specially designed towards different hand treatments.

The Avoplex Nail & Cuticle Replenishing Oil 15ml is geared towards restoring moisture and lipids with antioxidant Vitamin E plus Avocado, Sunflower, Sesame, and Kukui Nut Oils. Speaking of which an Asian styled avocado salsa dip can be made with most of these components. But back to the oil! This can be ideal for rough heels and elbows too.

The oil’s counterpart the Avoplex High-Intensity Hand & Nail Cream 50 ml gives intense repair for hands with extra care. So the packaging states that this cream is able to magically transform overworked hands with the help of protein peptides. Protein peptides consist of Shea, Cocoa, Avocado, and Almond Butters all mashed into one. But that’s not it, it is also enhanced with OPI’s secret ingredient the Advanced Avocado Lipid Complex. I wonder what that is…. ?

Here’s a full blown image of our cream, aside from the box made from recycled material and giving us an 18 months expiration date for our little friend. This would be long gone before 18 months is up.

With the smell of it being divine under the nose (notes of fruitiness can be found), the cream is non-greasy while providing maximum hydration and moisturizing support. As you might note, the cream is very quick at absorbing.

The consistency is just right. The cream at work is shown here.

The bottle looks just like a nail polish from OPI but with white cap.

The oil itself is best for the cuticles and nails but make sure to massage a drop into each cuticle twice a day for best results.

After opening the bottle and applying the oil over my nails I immediately noted the smell of Pineapple. The smell was pleasant. The oil does in fact improve my cuticle and nails for a natural shine. My cuticles look healthy too!

OPI, one of the world’s leading brand for nail polish also has lines and lines of nail and hand care products which is amazing. This set was my first product that I have tried from OPI for the care of my hands and by far it exceeds all my expectations. The very first thing I noticed was the bottle and applicator for both cream and oil are easy to use with next to nothing mess. The next thing that caught my senses was the smell, both were just so pleasant. After you open it, the wonderful smell is hard to shake off. Finally, after application, my hands feel refreshed and renewed. I have never been to a hand or manicure spa let alone a fancy pancy one, but I wonder if those salons use this high caliber of cream and oil.
