Say Hello to Flawless with Laura Mercier Flawless Face Collection

Who doesn’t want to look flawless? But in reality it’s nearly impossible because we may all have some blemishes or dark spots here and there. With the help of Laura Mercier Flawless Face Collection, our dream can come true.

Laura Mercier created a whole collection called Flawless Face that aims towards showing the beauty in you. What’s more is that they aren’t tested on animals!

The first product in Flawless Face Collection is the Foundation Primer. The primer is housed in a very sleek tube that is easily accessible with a just a simple squeeze.

“Foundation Primer is a lightweight, creamy gel meant to be used prior to foundation, creating an invisible layer that acts as a buffer to outside elements.”

“Perfect for all skin types, Laura Mercier Foundation Primer creates a smooth and invisible layer to prepare the skin. Your foundation will stay fresh all day.”

The primer comes in a good size of  1.70 Fl. Oz. It can be applied over moisturizer or on a clean face before concealer or foundation.

I like how the product is sealed prior to use. It was kept fresh as its best.

The consistency of the prime is in between a light gel and lotion. It absorbs so quickly but feels so moisturizing. There is no greasy or stickiness left behind. It feels like an invisible layer of silk over the skin. It also helps keep my foundation stay put all day.

Our second product was the Creme Smooth Foundation. The glass jar packaging has a solid and very classy look.

“Laura created this modern, lightweight foundation that floats over skin without visibly settling into fine lines. The hydrating formula includes a multipeptide complex infused with Dermaxyl and advanced optical diffusers that help to visibly smooth out lines and wrinkles.”

There are a total of eleven shades available and what I tried is Blush Ivory.

Inside the box was a white plastic spatula that is used to scoop out the foundation. It is such a life saver. I can’t complain enough about products stuck into my finger nail. I think every cream product should come with a spatular like this.

There is also a handle on the inner lid. It is so much easier to open it up with that.

The foundation looks like a rich cream cheese. A small amount goes a long way. I only need one scoop full for the whole face. By using the spatula I always get the correct amount each time.

This is what the foundation looks like on skin. The consistency is rich and creamy.

I like to use my finger tip for foundation application. With the warmth of my finger, the foundation completely melts into the skin. The color seems very natural after blending out. It has great coverage while feeling light weight on the skin. As you can see, it even covers my blood vein nicely. One thing I noticed about this foundation being very unique is that it doesn’t sink into pores or fine lines. Instead it floats on top of them so the pores and fine lines seem less visible.

The third product to a Flawless Face is Laura Mercier’s Secret Camouflage or simply a concealer.

“Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage completely camouflages dark circles, minor imperfections and discolorations. Secret Camouflage contains a unique two-shade system, one to match the skins depth of color and one to match the skins undertone, making it possible for every woman to custom-blend her own perfect shade.”

The case comes in Laura Mercier’s iconic color that is flip open on a push of a button upfront.

There are a great selection of 8 shades. I got to try SC-3 which is the 3rd lightest.

Once opened, there are two concealers that you can use. Both colors are meant to work together as a system to customize the shade you want.

The lighter color (left) has more volume than the darker color (right). It would be easier to pick up the darker color first then slowly blend in the lighter color to meet your needs.

Here is a swatch of both colors. As you can see the lighter one is on the bottom whereas the darker color is on the top. Both concealers are very creamy in texture. They feel hydrated on skin and last a long time without creasing or caking.

Our final product to a Flawless Face is the Loose Setting Powder in Translucent.

“Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder is an extremely lightweight, sheer and silky setting powder that contains the finest French “cashmere” talc and a unique light-reflecting ingredient that creates a “soft-focus” appearance for fine lines and imperfections.”

The powder comes in a container that is similar to that of the Foundation except this time it is not as heavy. It comes in a plastic jar.

It only comes in one shade, Translucent. So it’s one shade fits all.

There is a white sticker that seals the small holes in the jar. After you remove the sticker, just tap the jar and let some product fall onto the lid.

The powder is super finely milled and feels silky smooth on the skin. Though it seems light beige in the jar, it goes on sheer and translucent. I really like this setting powder. It contains light reflecting ingredients which give my face a soft focus effect. The finish is matte so any sort of shine will be taken away.

After using all the products from this collection, I immediately saw a result that my face became a flawless canvas just like what Laura Mercier has said.

Laura Mercier’s Flawless Face Collection has everything you need to create that gorgeous flawless looking face. You get the freedom to use them all together or just a little Secret Camouflage and Setting Powder when you are on the go. They work as a system not only hide imperfection, but also enhance the natural beauty of the skin. All the products are made with fine ingredients and are crafted by the best in the industry.

Laura believes there are four steps to create a flawless face—primer, foundation, concealer, and setting powder. Each product has been specifically developed to allow every woman to achieve an incredibly even, smooth, yet natural-looking complexion.

Do you know if the foundation has some liquid or is it sticky?
